Jansen is sort of like Iniesta. Engel is kind of like Messi, Weber is like Neymar tbh lol

they're all midgets, not good defensively and not strong

which basically allows me to put all my best players on the pitch in positions where they're good

Play one at striker or CDM. Problem solved

but in the 4-3-3 I can because Engel and Weber can play as inside forwards (LW/RW) and Jansen can move into the RCM role

the second problem is my 3 best players are natural CAMs, and I can't fit them all into the team in the 4-2-2-2

I have no control of the match, basically down to if I can get a good counter or solo run from Engel

which is why I've "only" won the CL twice

where i'm running into issues is against the very best teams

I've probably used 4-2-2-2 in 80% of my matches

If it works then it works.

I once played a 65 season save on FM with multiple clubs and countries and never once changed my formation

4–3-3 is my go to this game.

honestly 4-3-3 might be the move. It looks like I can convert my star LAM to a LW pretty quickly
