There’s small things too. When I pick up my oldest in the afternoon I drive past where they are playing. I gave her the “I love you” hand sign and she smiled really big and gave it right back.

The kiddos are sweet most of the time.

not with her. With the oldest I had fallen asleep on the floor holding her hand to comfort her.

Not always but she gets mad these days when we leave if she isn’t awake. I think it is just some fear or the dark or separation anxiety.
