  • redsox90720 minutes ago

  • six721 minutes ago
A 2024 study of 3,603 gym-goers in various locations found that 53.05% of men reported using anabolic steroids.

lol I joke but it’s kinda wild these days
  • Chillcavern22 minutes ago
I was going to say it might be too supportive :drose:
  • six723 minutes ago
also the amount of steroids that are used today is insane. dudes are on trt like chicks are on ozempic. for purely aesthetics

The problem is that people you know outside of it can be…very judgmental when your “performance” doesn’t match their expectations

contrary to public perception, i feel like the gym isnt judgemental
In my experience, it really depends on the gym, but on the whole, I’d agree
  • six725 minutes ago
    one of my favorite alternatives/supplemental
  • six726 minutes ago
    i love reverse lunges tbh
  • James30 minutes ago
I'm going to try to adapt and keep going even if that means stopping squats for a bit. I think lunges and step ups on a box should be fine.
  • James30 minutes ago
But in the past with running and other things when I got hurt like this I would stop and it was hard to get going again
  • James32 minutes ago
But benching 75 lbs vs 125 pounds when I weigh 165 is a big difference
  • James32 minutes ago
    Oh I agree.

Plus I feel and look better.
  • James33 minutes ago
I feel like for my size and length of training I am doing reasonable work
  • James33 minutes ago
Yeah, I'm happy with where I am getting. I'm not embarrassed to go in there and put in work.
  • six734 minutes ago
if u ever need a warmup or mobility movement, ive found a lot of success with ankle/knee pain by incorporating bodyweight squats with your legs together on your tippy toes for 20 reps
  • six735 minutes ago
thats awesome bro, glad to see u getting better each week
  • six735 minutes ago
ok yea that makes sense then. i was assuming they were back-to-back at first lol
  • James36 minutes ago
    Yeah I just do M-W-F
  • six737 minutes ago

  • James37 minutes ago

    for each workout?
    Yeah
  • James37 minutes ago
If I fail any set, stay at the same weight next workout. 3 failed workout and it all goes down 10%
  • six738 minutes ago
    for each workout?
  • James38 minutes ago
5 sets, First set is at my max working , and then the other sets are 10% less than that. 5 reps each set.
  • James38 minutes ago
    Nope
  • James38 minutes ago
Yeah I'm doing above body weight now so at least I don't feel bad I tweaked it at a small weight lol
  • six738 minutes ago
