There’s opportunities to get fucked everywhere but the military kind of has you by the balls.

An AF officer might sleep in a nicer space than a USMC officer but they're still getting exploited as a body

All branches are different but at the end of the day they likely still fuck people over the same way

Half hearted promises to fill the ranks with those who have no other future or who have bright futures but don’t know better.

I've got marine corps buddies & 1 friend in the space force who have had great experiences but it's nice to see both sides

Guess my pops is extremely fortunate. He didn't get deployed & got out early & still qualifies for full VA benefits his entire life.

In my brain, those benefits always seemed like the entire purpose to serve. Knowing they're 50/50 makes it a lil more

My generation will catch up when they can’t hide issues like Agent Orange and the trash fires for the previous generations.

That's crazy. My pops makes it seem like he's locked in for life. Maybe it was something they still honor for older vets but later ones aren't offered it.
