The Los Angeles Lakers appear to have hit some momentum following a 111-107 overtime victory against the Brooklyn Nets. It was the Lakers fourth straight victory as they improved their record to 11-6 on the season. LeBron James led the Lakers with 22 points, seven rebounds, one assist, one steal and three blocks. Anthony Davis finished with 19 points, 14 rebounds, four assists, one steal and one block. D'Angelo Russell, coming off a season-high against the Pelicans, put up 18 points, six rebounds and eight assists.
Mikal Bridges led the Nets with a game-high 41 points, knocking down 7-of-13 from the three-point line, along with seven rebounds and three assists. Markelle Fultz finished with 18 points and dished out a career-high 15 assists. Cameron Johnson added 15 points and Cam Thomas put up 14.
