Zion might slim down in San Antone.
If the Spurs can get in a groove before December, they might be able to end that playoff drought.

LOVE the Lonzo addition. Could be huge if he comes back to his former self (or some part of it).

I really like his game and feel like he fits the team perfectly and doesn't need to score to make an impact, which is what CP3 did for us last year
Lonzo Ball or Tre Jones
Devin Vassell/Steph Castle/Tre Johnson/Malaki Branham
Keldon Johnson/Champagnie/Cissoko
Zion/Sochan
Wemby/Collins/Almansa
the log jam at 2/3 is a bit concerning so idk if I'm going to sign any more wing players. I really want to play Steph and Tre heavy minutes this year. I just need to figure out if Zion is staying at the 4 or starting at the 3 with Keldon off the bench.
so either Lonzo - Vassell - Zion - Sochan - Wemby which is my best lineup talent wise but lacks the shooting I'd prefer
or Lonzo - Vassell - Keldon - Zion - Wemby with Sochan as the sixth man

A quiet summer for free agency as the top available players stay put with LeBron James set to play final season
Despite a free agency class that included LeBron James, Kyrie Irving and potentially James Harden and Jimmy Butler, the biggest name to change teams over the summer was center Naz Reid who signed a three-year, $42.93 million deal with the Charlotte Hornets.
James, Irving, Harden and Butler all returned to their respective teams with James announcing that his 23rd NBA season will indeed be his last.
A few notable players did move around with Brook Lopez leaving the Milwaukee Bucks for the Indiana Pacers, strengthening their front court that already features Pascal Siakam and Myles Turner. Tyus Jones joined the Clippers while Steven Adams is heading north to replace Naz Reid in Minnesota.
NBA Free Agency Signings
Chicago Bulls sign F Kelly Oubre Jr. to 1yr/$5.53m deal
Brooklyn Nets sign G Malcolm Brogdon to 3yr/$22.09m deal

Spurs finalize Summer League roster with additions of veterans Cory Joseph, Lonnie Walker among others
The San Antonio Spurs are ready to head to Las Vegas for the NBA Summer League with All-Rookie selection Stephon Castle leading the way as he heads into his second season.
The Spurs also added former top ten pick in Davion Mitchell to their roster as well as former Spurs players Cory Joseph and Lonnie Walker IV. Just played a whole lot of catchup. Looks like you went high-risk, high-reward with trading for Zion and signing Lonzo. Team looks really good and could make a serious leap if everyone stays healthy.
