Rise of the Scarlet Knights (DDSCB 2021)
Yeah, it's a little ridiculous how bad they start Rutgers out in this game lol. We don't exactly have a storied recent history, but this is legit one of the worst teams in D1. We only had one team this bad and it was a few years back under the previous coach.

Rise of the Scarlet Knights (DDSCB 2021)
January 2, 2021
Slider's 24 points lead Indiana past Rutgers 80-52
BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- -- Billy Slider scored 24 points on 10-14 shooting as Indiana (8-4, 2-1 Big Ten) smoked Rutgers (4-8, 0-3 Big Ten) 80-52. The Hoosiers completely dominated the second half, leading by as much as 34 points. They shot 52% from the field including 8-16 from three point range. Indiana's full court press forced the Scarlet Knights into 24 turnovers as they struggled to get anything going. Leon Winston put up 17 points and 7 rebounds.
For Rutgers, leading scorer Cedric Alexander who was averaging 14.1 points per game coming in only managed to put up 6 on 2-5 shooting. He was able to grab 7 rebounds. No Scarlet Knights scored in double figures as Melvin Lytle also scored 6 points on 2 made threes. Rutgers' leading scorer was freshman guard Curtis Green with 9 points. Reginald Weaver, Green's companion in the Scarlet Knights' all freshman backcourt had the dubious honor of being the only Rutgers player to put up double digits in any stat. He had 10 turnovers as he was simply unable to handle the full court press.
Rutgers has one day off before another road contest at #5 Illinois (13-1, 2-1 Big Ten). Illinois is coming off their first loss of the year tonight, 86-75 at #18 Michigan State.

Good luck... Illinois seems legit. Don't expect them to lose two in a row.
