1st Quarter
The Los Angeles Lakers came out a little too aggressive in the first quarter. On three separate possessions they fouled the Jazz shooting a three-point attempt. The Jazz hit eight of those nine free throws, but the Lakers still found themselves with the lead at the end of the quarter, 31-29.

2nd Quarter
The Jazz cut the Lakers lead down to two, 44-42 in the second quarter, but that was as close as they would get for the rest of the game as the Lakers closed out the first half on a 27-14 run, leading 71-56 at the half.

3rd Quarter
The third quarter saw the Lakers extend their lead by as many as twenty-eight points late in the quarter, as they went on to hit five three-pointers in the quarter. They took a twenty-five point lead, 105-80 into the fourth quarter.

4th Quarter
The Lakers extended their lead to thirty, 114-84 following a dunk by Christian Wood. Wood put up 15 points in the fourth quarter leading the Lakers in garbage time. The Lakers went on to win by the final score of 133-114. They will find out if they will be advancing to the knockout stage of the In-Season Tournament following the last of the pool play games played next Tuesday.

1st Quarter
Kyrie Irving got the game started with a mid-range jumpshot and the Mavericks took a 2-0 lead and never looked back. LeBron James knocked down a three-pointer that dropped the Mavericks lead to three points, 15-12, but that was as close as the Lakers would ever get. The Mavericks ended the first quarter on a 19-9 run, holding a 34-21 lead.

2nd Quarter
The Mavericks hit back-to-back three-pointers to begin the quarter, extending their lead to 40-21. Later in the quarter another set of back-to-back three-pointers increased the Mavericks lead to 56-32. Just before the end of the quarter the Mavericks had a twenty-six point lead, 68-42, but went into halftime up 68-44.

3rd Quarter
The Mavericks lead increased to thirty in the third quarter after Derek Jones Jr converted a layup, giving the Mavs an 82-51 lead. The Mavs led by as many as thirty-seven points this game, 91-54 until Anthony Davis finished the quarter with a thunderous dunk, making it 91-56 heading into the fourth quarter.

4th Quarter
The Lakers are well known for their incredible comeback against the Mavericks over the years, especially at home, and the start of the fourth quarter looked like it was about to happen again. The Lakers opened the quarter on a 20-8 run to cut the deficit to twenty-points, 99-79. The Mavericks however were able to withstand the early quarter run by the Lakers and finish the game on an 18-7 run of their own, handing the Lakers their worst loss of the season, 117-86.

1st Quarter
LeBron James returned home to Cleveland following the Thanksgiving holiday and the Lakers starting a week-long four game road trip. The Lakers looked to get off to a fast start after an embarassing loss to the Mavericks on Wednesday and they did get off to a fast start after a three-pointer by Taurean Prince, the Lakers found themselves up 12-6 early on. The backcourt duo of Darius Garland and Donovan Mitchell then erupted as they led the charge for the Cavaliers, erasing the Lakers six-point lead and ending the first quarter up 34-22. The Cavaliers 28-10 run included them hitting five three-pointers.

2nd Quarter
The Lakers once again were a step slow on the defensive and their offense was stagnant. The Cavaliers were hitting shots from the perimeter at will as they increased their twelve-point lead all the way to twenty-two and went into halftime up 68-48.

3rd Quarter
The Lakers tried to mount a comeback to cut the Cavaliers lead down to a reasonable deficit, but they were only able to cut it down to thirteen points, 97-84 before the Cavaliers started knocking down their perimeter shots again. The Cavaliers pushed their lead back up to nineteen by the end of the quarter, 105-86.

4th Quarter
The Lakers gave up 34 points in both the first and second quarters and then gave up 37 in the third, but compared to what they gave up in the fourth and final quarter was simply a lack of effort and a team just running through the motions. Cleveland went onto score 43 points in the fourth quarter, including Donovan Mitchell knocking down two more three-pointers, giving him seven on the night. The Cavaliers outscored the Lakers by nine in the quarter and handed them without a doubt their worst loss of the season, 148-120.
