Finding A New Home.

After some private workout sessions with a handful of NBA teams, my agent finally gave me the call.

"We got our first offer & I think you're going to love it." My agent said to me on the phone.

"The Phoenix Suns want to sign you to a 1-year deal worth $2.5 million."

"Any other offers? What about the Lakers?" I countered, hoping for a chance to debut alongside LeBron James in the Staples Center.

Not to mention I've been living in Los Angeles for over a decade now.

"I tried them. Turns out they're not looking for anymore guards. Or star power." He replied.

"And the Clippers haven't returned my call either. Rumor has it they're focused in on getting John Wall from Houston."

I paused.

"The Suns like your toughness. They believe your attitude could be enough to help the team get back in the Finals for the second straight year. How's that sound? Competing for a championship in your first season."

It sounds really good. I'm no stranger to championship gold.

"Let's take the deal." I said.

"Ok. Pack up. You're moving to Phoenix."
