Rutgers takes another convincing beating, this time at the hands of Ohio State

COLUMBUS, Oh -- -- Greg Wilkerson went off for 23 points and 10 rebounds as Ohio State (14-7, 7-3 Big Ten) beat Rutgers (5-15, 1-10 Big Ten) by a score of 76-56. The Buckeyes outscored the Scarlet Knights 47-25 in the first half before cruising to victory in the second.

For Rutgers, freshman Curtis Green led scoring with 13 points, though on just 5-14 shooting. Melvin Lytle also managed to add 10 points of his own.

The Scarlet Knights attempted just 4 free throws in the game and lost the turnover battle 21-9.

Next, Rutgers takes on Indiana (12-8, 6-5 Big Ten) on February 3 at home.

Despite a more competitive performance, Rutgers suffers another home loss

PISCATAWAY, Nj -- -- Billy Slider scored 26 points as the Indiana Hoosiers () defeated the Rutgers Scarlet Knights () by the score of 73-58.

After a series of blowouts, Rutgers was a bit more competitive in this game and trailed by only 6 points at halftime. Indiana, however, was able to extend the lead in the second half and went on to win fairly comfortably.

Rutgers turned the ball over 33 (!) times in the game, including 12 turnovers from freshman guard Reginald Weaver.

Rutgers next game is on February 6 at home against Iowa (9-11, 5-6 Big Ten).
