The Memphis Grizzlies tagged along in Charlotte's pursuit of Gordon Hayward and upgraded their athleticism in the progress.

Why the Grizzlies Did It
"We shipped out some really good veteran players, but we got much more athletic in the process and bolstered up our defensive capabilities. Hurts to lose Jonas, but we have other players who can carry the offensive load."

Why the Celtics Did It
"Gordon [Hayward] was frustrated playing in a loaded wing position. We grab some awesome depth with Allen and Batum, but most of all, really improve our center spot with Valanciunas. We think we can win the championship with this move."

Why the Hornets Did It
"Hayward is an all-star and we think our team can take advantage of a weak Eastern conference. Williams will step right in as a main contributor. We think we can make a Conference Finals with this move."

Dude can finish at the rim through contact. Not just dunks, but layups and just inside, second effort stuff. He's a really good defender too, so I'm excited to bring him on board.

Yeah thought JV in Boston would be a pretty realistic fit

The bro Semi is on my bench right now. Our wing depth is pretty jammed. Bridges, Clarke, Josh Jackson, Crowder, etc. I'm sure I'll find some space for him eventually, though. Maybe move Plumlee to the reserves, have Rabb play the 5 and fit some Semi at the 4
