Let me say what I was gonna say, but not actually say it so I can save face… :bruh:

Are you a Celts fan Soap? I was always a Kobe hater until he started declining, and now I appreciate him so much more.

Lakers Notebook
LAKERS: Jordan Hangs 43, Yao's Double-Double Debut, And A Five-Game Skid Halted As O'Neal Gets Set To Return

EL SEGUNDO, Calif. -- It was another week and a half to forget as the Lakers finished 1-5 over the last six games, ending a five-game losing streak over the rival San Antonio Spurs to split the season series 1-1.

Kobe Bryant continued to shoulder the load offensively, making it 12-for-12 as the team's leading scorer in each of these first 12 games to start the year. A nice surprise, however, has been Robert Horry's play on the boards and as a playmaker. He led the team in rebounds with at least 10 or more in three of the last six, and led the team in assists in a loss against Dallas.

Headlines from the most recent stretch of games come from Washington's Michael Jordan, who hung 43 points on Kobe and the Lakers and recorded 12 rebounds as well. A few games later, the Lakers got their first look at the No. 1 pick in the draft, Yao Ming, who led the Rockets to victory with 25 points and 13 rebounds.

RECENT GAMES

at WASHINGTON - Loss, 107-138
Laker Highs - P: Bryant 30, R: Bryant/Madsen/Walker 5, A: Bryant 7

vs ATLANTA - Loss, 102-111
Laker Highs - P: Bryant 28, R: Horry 13, A: Bryant 7

vs GOLDEN STATE - Loss, 104-109
Laker Highs - P: Bryant 47, R: Walker 9, A: Pargo 6

vs HOUSTON - Loss, 105-118
Laker Highs - P: Bryant 25, R: Horry 11, A: Bryant/Fisher 5

at DALLAS - Loss, 89-112
Laker Highs - P: Bryant 26, R: Horry 10, A: Horry 7

at SAN ANTONIO - Win, 109-88
Laker Highs - P: Bryant 20, R: Walker 17, A: Bryant 8

UP NEXT

vs CHICAGO (5-7)
Team Leaders - PPG: Rose 21.7, RPG: Fizer 9.2, APG: Williams 6.8

The Lakers are poised to host the Chicago Bulls, who are in the midst of a road trip -- dropping both of their last two games. The Bulls are a young, athletic team, but don't necessarily boast the veteran savviness or basketball IQ that the Lakers have. But let's not bury the lead any further -- this game marks the return of star center Shaquille O'Neal, and that's where all eyes will be focused.

In O'Neal's absence, the team has struggled to win games and currently sit in sixth place in the division at 4-8 on the season.

The depth is horrible... maybe it's just magnified because of how much the game has changed in the last 20 years, but guys really can't shoot. It's all driving to the hoop and inside bully-ball. Kobe really is the only guy who can hit a jumper off the dribble too. It's like a pickup game at the park with all 40 year olds ...and Kobe.

I like them! Really simple stuff. Might need to adopt graphics like this moving forward on more modern stuff.
