Spurs finalize Summer League roster with additions of Reddish, Samanic and Brown
The San Antonio Spurs are ready to head to Las Vegas for the NBA Summer League with one of the more interesting rosters that feature top draft pick Victor Wembanyama, fellow rookie Amen Thompson and 2nd Team All-Rookie selection Jeremy Sochan.
The Spurs also added former top ten pick in Cameron Reddish to their roster as well as former Spur Luka Samanic and center Moses Brown. Samanic was the 19th pick by the Spurs back in 2019 and after spending most of his team in the G-League, he was cut by the team as part of final roster cuts before the 2021–22 NBA season. Samanic then spent the past two seasons in the G-League with the affiliates of the New York Knicks and Boston Celtics.
Samanic and Brown will be fighting for a roster spot as well as rookie signings Jalen Hood and Brice Sensabaugh who were second round picks that were released by their respective teams from their contract. Hood is an intriguing prospect with his pedigree as a former five-star recruit before putting together a solid freshman season at Indiana that many thought would have earned him a spot in the first round.
