Maybe I missed where you mentioned this. Is this franchise acting as a reflection in history or taking place in the 90s? The tweets being dated in the future is why I'm curious.

I never properly explained it, right? Okay: when I was using the '70s Blazers, I was using a newspaper layout with a photo carousel, which I always felt was a little out of place... like it didn't match that era, you know? When I was brainstorming this one, I knew that I wanted to use a retro team and keep the carousel, but also add tweets, "podcasts" and videos. I also knew that I didn't want to write about the games themselves (or too extensively), but from a story point of view. So:

Think of this as an ESPN / The Ringer feature. I hired this not-cheap-at-all group of writers to tell, many years later, the story of this team. They all have their own area of expertise: they know everything that has happened, the good and the bad, and will drop some tidbits every now and then. I'm playing the games and making my own transactions, of course.
