New Orleans Pelicans Team Update
Injury Bug Hits Again, Pels Lose Brandon Ingram to Strained Hip

Brandon Ingram left last night's contest early in the team's victory in Cleveland over the Cavs. Doctors have confirmed Ingram suffered a strained hip and have given him a timetable of 6-to-8 weeks before he returns to full health.

Ingram leads the team with 21.6 points per contest and is shooting 50% from the field and 86.8% from the stripe, a team high for those who qualify.

With backup Trey Murphy III also out, Naji Marshall is expected to slide into the starting lineup with an uptick in playing time given to Dyson Daniels and EJ Liddell.

yeah man just like irl... those injuries are a huge concern for this team. tbh zion plays most of the game with the "low energy" indicator on and it terrifies me. his fatigue and durability is the only holding him back from being an mvp-type player. he needs to lay off the gumbo and log more minutes
