The WNBA at a glance.

New York Liberty load their roster with WNBA All-Star talent:

Image Image Image Image

The Liberty have just stacked their roster during the 2045 offseason by adding 2x champion (2042, 2043), 2x MVP (2035, 2042), & 13x WNBA All-Star Ciara Hall to their roster. Alongside Hall comes the signing of 2x All-Star Nikki Ramsey & 3x All-Star Sui Bowman. The icing on top was the signing of 3x WNBA champion, Theresa Gardner. With a roster already highlighted by the reigning WNBA MVP, Swin McGuire, as well as 13x All-Star Lexie Hilliard, the Liberty have just asserted themselves as a major favorite to compete for the WNBA championship.

Jimenez has her sights set on the Playoffs in Year 2 following a historic rookie season:

The Indiana Fever are all in for the future of Autumn Jimenez after she set a franchise record for assists in 1-season. Not only that, but she also led the assists category in the entire league. Playing alongside first time all-star & the winner of the KIA Clutch Player award (as well as the 2043 Rookie of the Year), Shayla Marion, the two have become a powerful duo in the league & will be a darkhorse to sneak into the postseason.

Minnesota Lynx stack the roster in Free Agency:

The New York Liberty weren't the only team to make some great signings as the Lynx signed 8x All-Star Danielle Garner to a 4-year deal. The Lynx also added 4x All-Star Alana Flores after spending her past three seasons in Atlanta. The addition of these 2 post players alongside 2x WNBA champion & 4x MVP, Sam Dabanovic, & first time All-Star N'Dea Snow, the Lynx should be a force to be reckoned with in 2045.

The 2045 WNBA Rookie Class could be the best yet as the daughters of former NBA legends will make their own mark:

The WNBA's Opening Night Brings Out The Fans As Future Superstars Hit The Floor.

Image

The opening night for the WNBA was a major success with the debut of the two winners in free agency, the New York Liberty & the Minnesota Lynx. As the Liberty cruised to a dominant victory over the Fever behind last season's MVP, Swin McGuire, scoring a team-high 19 points, the Lynx also prevailed with a 12-point win over the Atlanta Dream. 12-year veteran & newcomer to the Lynx, Danielle Garner, posted an impressive statline with 21 points & 10 boards in the win, while last season's Finals MVP with the Dallas Wings, Sparkle Ford, dropped 27 points in her debut with the Dream.

Not only were fans treated to witnessing the best teams in the WNBA, they were also treated to the debut of some really impressive rookies. The Liberty's Tracy Royal scored 17 points off the bench in her debut, while the Crypto.com Arena was nearly sold out to witness the debut of Amaya Sauce, who finished with just 10 points & 6 rebounds. Other notable performances include Brianna Augustus scoring 9 for the Fever, & Cha'Ssondra Cash going for 8 in the Dream's loss.

It wasn't a good scoring night for Jamie Taylor, as she scored 2 points on a very tough 1/8 shooting from the field as the Sun lost to Sky. Zhuri Black scored 5 points & secured 5 rebounds for the Sky, while her twin sister Zarya Black scored 4 points in the Lynx' victory. Roxanne Porter also played 14 minutes for the Lynx & scored 2 points.
