Abreu-Sosa agrees to head coaching position in Thibodeaux, LA.

Former college basketball player for the Kansas Jayhawks, Julio Abreu-Sosa, will be finding himself back on the bench as the head coach of the Nicholls St. Colonels for the 2007-2008 season.

While things didn't pan out at the professional level for the 6'7" wing player out of the Dominican Republic, he now finds himself with quite possibly the biggest challenge of his basket career: turning around the Nicholls St. basketball program after an abysmal 8-22 record (including a 10% record attendance at a gym with a 3,800 person capacity.)
