Nicholls St. Shows Off The Upcoming Team During 'Madness At Midnight'
Midnight Madness: Nov. 1, 2007 - Stopher Gym, Thibodeaux, LA
The two sophomore big men out of Australia went to work against each other in tonight's scrimmage.
Junior guard #23 is expected to have a big season offensively for the Colonels this season. Tonight he poured in 16 in Team White's victory.
The freshman from Akron, #14, is expected to play a lot of key minutes off the bench as Nicholls hopes to bounce back from an 8-22 season.
The big man from Houston, Sophomore #44, tallied a double-double of 10 points & 10 rebounds for Team Red.
The big freshman on campus, #1, was easily a crowd favorite as he flushed down multiple dunks to go along with 14 points on the night.
"We're putting in the work. Tonight was just a taste. We're going to put Nicholls on the map this season.." Head coach Julio Abreu-Sosa told The Nicholls Worth after tonight's scrimmage.

you got quite the aussie pipeline there
Right it seems to be pretty successful for them so far. I'll have to see if there's anybody worth recruiting in Australia
Thanks for the comments fella
A little Nicholls lore about this: There was a like 10-year period where the men's and women's basketball teams and the soccer team were like 70% Australian. Now, there is a small Australian ex-pat community in New Orleans of all the former Nicholls athletes recruited during that time.

I was just trying 2K7 on my PS3 the other day and it gave me the option to generate names before anything else.
