Brooklyn Closes the Books on Boston in Game 5

Summary: With their backs against the wall, Boston gave one last push to extend this series, but Brooklyn held their ground in Barclays. Paul George had the hot hand in Game 4, scoring 31 points and Shareef O’Neal posted a triple double in that blowout. Brooklyn kept that same energy in Game 5 as they sent the Celtics back to Boston with a first round exit. Tonight was for Brooklyn’s youth as Adam Demps led the bench in scoring with 22 points, hitting all five of his three point attempts in Brooklyn’s victory.
