Nets Survive Tight Series Opener
Summary:Game 1 of the most anticipated series gave the fans everything they could ask for. The game was bump and grind from the opening tip. Neither team gave up much ground in this one as the largest margin by either team was 8 points. Philadelphia came very close to stealing this game without their leading scorer Malik Newman on the court. Paul George closed out, scoring 15 points and hitting a go ahead three-point in the final 30 seconds of the game to give Brooklyn a 107-103 lead.
Playoff P is definitely in the building. Clutch shot tonight. – Derek Baldwin, SG - Brooklyn Nets

Newman's Return Not Enough for Sixers to Avoid Sweep
Summary:Malik Newman returned to the court for Game 4 in an attempt to save his team from another embarrassing loss and a sweep. He told reporters that he would rather play in this game at 80 percent than to not play at all. He put up 15 points tonight in the loss, so we can only imagine how well he would have played operating at 100 percent. It still wasn’t enough to stop Brooklyn though. Derek Baldwin who had been quietly getting buckets all series, led his team in scoring with 24 points tonight. He also grabbed six boards and dished out six assists. Trae Young had a huge performance, leading all in scoring.
I know how that feels wanting to be there for your team. Shout to Malik for coming in and putting in work. – Paul George, SF - Brooklyn Nets
