Mahinmi Goes Down In Loss Against Hawks, Will Miss 8-10 Weeks With Ankle Injury

Image
Dwayne Bacon helped teammate Ian Mahinmi off the floor after Mahinmi injured his ankle going up for a jumpshot. Mahinmi had 6 points & 9 rebounds.

The Storm are devastated to learn that one of the hardest workers on the team is going to be sidelined for the next two months.

Ian Mahinmi was looking to score when he landed wrong on the defender's foot and sprained his right ankle.

The Storm medical staff has diagnosed it as a Severe Right Ankle Sprain and Mahinmi will be out for a projected 8-10 weeks.

With Mahinmi being the only Center on the roster, it's likely Storm's GM Agent will make another Center appear before their match with Toronto on Wednesday.
