NOTES & QUOTES
Heat Starting Five: Antonio Snow, Allen Crabbe, Josh Richardson, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, Hassan Whiteside
Summary: The Toronto Raptors have lost their last four games, as they are struggling to bring their record back to .500. Isaiah Whitehead has been filling in as the starting point guard for the Raptors. This is Isaiah’s third team in three seasons, having been drafted in the second round by Brooklyn in 2016. He spent last season in Denver before heading to Toronto as a free agent this summer. He scored a career-high 22 points in Toronto’s loss to Detroit, his first career start.
He looked to have a big night against Antonio Snow as well, scoring 16 points in the first quarter, but was held to just two points for the rest of the night.
Mikal Bridges returned to action tonight, but saw limited minutes. He scored five points in his 15 minutes on the floor in Toronto.
Antonio Snow on Isaiah Washington’s hot start: He had a great start. That’s important. He couldn’t keep the energy up, but he got off to a great start. I can’t really say much more than that. I don’t really know him, never saw him play. But good start.
Mikal Bridges on returning to action: I feel like I played okay. I didn’t want to force too much, just trying to get in the flow of the offense.
