Can't Ban the Snowman: The Legend of Tony Snow
NOTES & QUOTES
Heat Starting Five: Antonio Snow, Mikal Bridges, Josh Richardson, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, Hassan Whiteside
Summary: After a rough start for Antonio Snow, going 1 for 6 in the first quarter, he finished the night with 31 points and the Heat picked up a win. The Orlando Magic played a scrappy game, but once Snow was moved to shooting guard position, the Heat took their first lead just before halftime going up by five as Snow sank a three-pointer at the buzzer. As the game went on, Miami brought out more of that tenacious defense that they’ve been known for. Orlando saw their shooting take a severe dip, after shooting 57% from the field in the first half, they shot under 50% in the second half.
Mikal Bridges returned to the starting lineup for Miami tonight, adding 16 points to the Heat victory over Orlando.
Mikal Bridges on being back in the starting lineup: I think it’s fitting, considering I went out in our last game against Orlando. Toronto was a warm up. I’m ready.
Antonio Snow on rivalry with Kyrie Irving: It’s healthy competition. I’ve said it before, we always push each other. There isn’t another point guard in the league that I like playing against more than Kyrie. He will get the most out of me every time.
Kyrie Irving on facing Antonio Snow: It’s always fun. Always. He is a true competitor. You can’t ask for a better opponent.
Miami HC Erik Spoelstra on moving Snow to shooting guard: We just needed to get him going in the second quarter, so we thought it would be better to have him and Trey on the floor together. We haven’t done it often this season, but we’ve done it before.

My favorites
Trying to get those assists numbers up. MKG has doubled his scoring output from last season so far. Teams have been trying to lock Snow up, so the scoring comes late, but as long as he's dropping dimes.
Orlando and Boston are my two favorite matchups. Kyrie and Ja are always putting in that work.
