Summary: The Miami Heat have now gone up 2-1 in the series of the Indiana Pacers. The rivalry is still strong as the Heat fans displayed tonight. Miami got off to a hot start going up 32-20 in the first quarter. Defense was key for the Heat tonight as they came away with the 9 steals in the first half. The third quarter was a bit of a struggle as Miami missed their first five shots, allowing Indiana to make some headway on their 15 point halftime deficit. Finally, Antonio Snow got a steal and finished off with a reverse dunk to get things rolling again for Miami. Indiana stared down a 20 point deficit for most of the fourth quarter with no shot at pulling out of it.

Antonio Snow holding Victor Oladipo to 9 points: Some nights the defense is just on and tonight is one of the nights.

Erick Spoelstra on a close the strong defense: Exceptional. That’s the only way to really describe it. They came out and dominated on that side of the ball and it led to some easy offense for us.

Carmelo Anthony on scoring barrage in fourth quarter: In a nutshell, I was feeling it. The guys were getting me the ball. I was in a good rhythm and the shots kept falling.
