Not So Fast, Born Ready; Stephenson Earns Another NBA Chance With The Pacers
It's no secret there's a real love affair between Pacer' fans and Lance Stephenson. Maybe it's because he's an extremely underrated playmaker when given the freedom to create, or maybe it's old time fans still clinging on to the title hopes the team shared during Stephenson's first time in Indiana.
Either way, buckle up NBA fans because Lance Stephenson and the Indiana Pacers have reunited for the third time in the 10-year veteran's professional career.
Last season's experiment with the Lakers wasn't a failure for Stephenson, but his days as a journeyman seemed to have come to an end as he didn't make an NBA roster during the offseason. This resulted in a contract agreement to play for the Liaoning Flying Leopards of the Chinese Basketball Association until the Pacers reached out.
Despite their 4-0 start to the season, the Pacers felt they needed to add another playmaker to the roster.
Stephenson will wear #6 for the Pacers as his former #1 is currently worn by TJ Warren.
