Dropped 50 then a couple 30 point games! Saucy! Gotta get them wins though!

That loss to Detroit hurt me man. It's been a grind though. I kind of appreciate that we aren't just taking the NBA by storm since I'm on the squad

losing does make it a lot more fun overall, that skid's gotta hurt a bit though.

The skid isn't good for my ego, but it's making for a great story.

Rookies Zion and Morgan Aren’t Gelling as Quickly as Fans Hoped

Will rookies Zion Williamson and Morgan Sauce make the Pelicans a legitimate threat before the end of the season?

The New Orleans Pelicans have had an up and down season, which is the norm, but fans expected more ups this season with number 1 draft pick Zion Williamson joining the team. New Orleans also drafted Morgan Sauce and while fans didn’t expect much from Sauce, he turned into an awesome pickup for the Pelicans as he has come on as more and more of a young leader for the team, especially when Williamson had gone out with an injury. That just so happened to be the same night that Sauce was named to the starting lineup.

With an increase in minutes, Sauce has continued to impress, putting up a few 30 point performances and even a career high 50 points in a loss to the Detroit Pistons.

So, when Zion returned to action ten days ago, fans just naturally assumed that this was going to be an amazing partnership for New Orleans. An 11-point win over Orlando seemed very promising, but with the Pelicans currently in the middle of a four game losing streak, fans seem to be preparing themselves for another disappointing season.

We think it’s still too early to tell whether this young duo can right the ship. Fortunately, the coaching staff and front office are supporting them 100 percent.

“This is different. Zion and Morgan are both getting over 20 minutes per night so they are still working on their chemistry,” said Vice President of Basketball Operations, Swin Cash. “It’s only been two weeks. Let’s revisit this conversation after All-Star Weekend.”

But 4 straight Ls? Playoffs are going to be brutal if we even make it. We keep bouncing from 7th to 9th seed.
