Phoenix Suns sign former Michigan star guard Derrick Walton Jr. to 10-day contract
The Phoenix Suns have signed guard Derrick Walton Jr. to a reported 10-day contract, as first reported by Fox Sports Arizona.

Walton, 24, has an opportunity to prove himself in as a rotational player. He played 16 games for the Miami Heat in 2017-18 and took a gap year to play overseas. The six-foot guard was a four-year player at Michigan, earning All-Big Ten honors as a junior and senior as well as winning Big Ten Tournament MVP in 2017.

Jevon Carter has been the backup point guard behind Ricky Rubio and while he has been serviceable, it stands to reason that Phoenix might want an additional ball handler off the bench that is also a threat from outside.

The Suns are last in the league in both three pointers made and three point attempts.

I didn't really notice it until the end of the game but yeah, need to get Oubre more involved as he's probably my second best player with Ayton out.
