Duke Blue Devils offer baseball star, Grayson QB Storm McWilliams Jr.

The Duke Blue Devils appear to be in an advantageous position with recently ranked quarterback and elite baseball pitcher Storm McWilliams as the first Power 5 football program to be recruiting the Grayson High School prospect. McWilliams is rising as a QB recruit after his first three career starts at quarterback, throwing for nine touchdowns.

McWilliams has long been considered a potential early MLB draft pick but has recently stated he would like to play football and baseball in college. McWilliams transferred from Buford HS (GA) for the opportunity to play and start at quarterback. With the quarterback position less than solidified at Duke since Daniel Jones' departure, McWilliams has all the raw tools to turn into a formidable college quarterback under the tutelage of QB guru David Cutcliffe.

McWilliams is listed as the 120th ranked athlete and 200th ranked player in Georgia in the Class of 2020 by 247Sports. Both those numbers seem low. Duke would reportedly allow McWilliams to play football and baseball.
