I expected us to be top 3 in the AL East, but some players have really disappointed.
Devers has been his usual self, just mashing bombs, you can tell as soon as he swings if he has blasted it.
Sale, Duvall, Hernandez, Kluber and verdugo have all been a little disappointing. Duvall might shock you, he can smash the ball but strikes out a lot, even in the sim.
Verdugo I love as a player but he is so slow to react and also get to balls, there have been a few doubles and even triples that a outfielder with a little bit of speed would have got to, so that’s why he is disappointing. Great with the bat.
Sale and Kluber were expected to be the keys to my rotation and both have been a let down. Saying that the whole rotation is rocks or diamonds.
Move wise I have played the next 2 series against the Mets and Braves, so I think giving my record and the demand for starters and closers that Sale could be moved and I could get a good return for him, Hernandez is defiantly in the outer and the Smokey is Jansen.
I have enough at the backend of the bullpen to use as a closer if I go that route.
