Wolves Sell Ben Chilwell to Real Madrid for £55M

    Image
Wolves have decided to part ways with left-back Ben Chilwell. The 25-year-old Englishman was rumoured to be on the outs when Achraf Hakimi was brought in last January, and with the Moroccan looking far more dangerous than him last season, Wolves believe it's safe to let Chilwell go for a very large fee of £55 million to Real Madrid. Wolves plan to bring in another cheap left-back option to spell Hakimi going forwards.

    Lisandro Duarte Loaned Out

Academy graduate attacking midfielder, Lisandro Duarte, has been loaned out for the season to PSV. Duarte looked decent in limited action last season, but with Izzy Brown and Pedro Fornals ahead of him in the depth chart, a loan move to the Eredivisie looks like the best way for him to get some consistent playing time this season.

    Mason Harrison Sold

Mason Harrison had a decent loan-spell at Huddersfield last year, but failed to show anything that indicates he is at the level required for Wolves. The club has sold him to Spanish side Real Sociedad for £11,900,000.

Wolves Sign American Starlet, Antonee Robinson

    Image
Wolves have acted quickly to replace the hole in the depth chart left by Chilwell's departure, inking the signature of Antonee Robinson from Malaga CF for a reported £10.7 million fee. The American left-back possesses pace and some quality technical ability, and at 24 years old should be a good long-term backup for Achraf Hakimi in the position. He will earn £39.5K per week at Wolves.

Lance Wright Loaned to the Swiss League

Recent academy graduate, Lance Wright, has been loaned to BSC Young Boys of the Swiss League for the rest of the 2022-23 campaign. The 17-year-old striker was unlikely to feature much with Andre Silva and Dominic Calvert-Lewin holding down the position.

Wolves Nab Kimpembe from Bayern in Ake Swap

    Image
Wolves have made their first major splash of the summer, agreeing to send Nathan Ake and a £40M transfer fee to FC Bayern Munich for Presnel Kimpembe. The 26-year-old French center-back is one of the best in the world, and his unique combination of height, pace and technical ability make him the perfect partner for John Stones. This is a major coup for Wolves and gives them one of the best center-back pairings in all of Europe. Kimpembe has been handed the #5 shirt for Wolves, and will become the 4th highest paid player at the club on £84K/week.

Wolves Sell Alfie Clarke to Fenerbahce

Alfie Clarke was one of Wolves' most promising academy prospects, but despite two loans he's not shown enough to impress Nuno and has thus been shown the door. For a £11.4 million fee, the 19-year-old left winger will move to Turkish side, Fenerbahce. Wolves wish him the best of luck going forwards

Sofiane Boufal Sold to Crystal Palace

    Image
Wolves continue to trim the squad this summer, this time selling Sofiane Boufal to Crystal Palace for a £26.2 million fee. Boufal was bought last year and did decently, but he club wants to go a different direction with the rotation option in left-midfield. A replacement signing is expected to be announced in the coming days.
