Great signings. My team is Arsenal but I've always liked Newcastle, so I hope you can keep them in the top flight!

Newcastle just seem like a good team to like as a neutral. My team is Tottenham but I like Newcastle being in the Premier League. I would be shocked if we didn't stay up this season, I am really hoping to finish top 10. I had higher hopes but PES on the PC is much harder than I thought.

I simulated two games to finish December. We beat Sheffield United 1-0 at home and then beat Fulham 1-0 at Craven Cottage. The two wins move us from 12th to 8th place at the start of January.

Newcastle lock down key player

Miguel Almiron has agreed to a three year extension with Newcastle keeping him at the club until 2024. Almiron has had an up and down season with Newcastle scoring four goals and one assist but injuries and poor form have kept him out of the starting line up at times.

The hope for Newcastle is Almiron finds consistency on the right side of the field with Zaha playing on the right, Saint-Maximin and Renato Sanches in midfield and Callum Wilson up top. The attacking combinations give Newcastle fans a lot to be excited about.

Yea, I need a striker and a CB for sure. Funds are pretty limited and some players I wanted are not willing to come to us just yet so it has been difficult finding players. I think I have around 22m left to fill those two holes so I am looking for a player with a release clause less than 10m and then spending the remaining on a ST or CB.

Right now my best XI is;

Wilson
Zaha ASM Sanches Almiron
Hayden - Hendrick
Rugani Lascelles Fernandez
Darlow

WIlson is the only striker currently and Manquillo, Lewis and Krafth are the only defenders left on the bench. None of them are true CBs.
