A few story notes before starting...
I made a number of transfers before starting the career to keep things fresh. I tried to not make too many transfers for one team but made transfers that have either been rumored or they happened in my FM save and I thought they worked well. This career is starting a year into the future so new teams are in the European competitions and new relegated/promoted sides. Of course I picked Spurs to finish 4th this season so we are in the CL.
England's European sides
Champions League: City, Liverpool, Chelsea, Spurs
Europa League: Arsenal, Man United
Europa Conference: West Ham
