FIFA PC -- Toronto FC Video Dynasty
Posted: 18 Feb 2019, 15:14
Time to bring my Toronto FC video dynasty over from the old site. I will start with the second season.
I turned this dynasty from a FIFA 15 dynasty into a FIFA 16 dynasty.
It would have been too odd to continue this Major League Soccer career mode with defunct Chivas and without New York FC and Orlando. Those two teams joined the MLS after FIFA 15 came out.
Unlike MLB The Show, there is no way to import a FIFA 15 dynasty into FIFA 16.
But’s that not going to stop me.
Here’s what I’m going to do:
1. All Toronto FC players in FIFA 16 who are not on my roster at the end of my FIFA 15 season will be sent packing. For example, that means Sebastien Giovani will be placed on Juventus and Jozy Altidore will be sent to Sunderland through the editor. Likewise, Jermain Defore will be moved from Sunderland in FIFA 15 to Toronto FC in FIFA 16
2. All Toronto FC players in FIFA 16 will be edited to have their ratings the same as they were at the end of my FIFA 2015 season. Here’s examples of what that means.
Goalkeeper Joe Bendik was rated a 66 at the start of this dynasty and a 66 at the end of the season. But his strength rating jumped from 70 to 72 and reactions rating jumped from 64 to 68.
In FIFA 16, I gave him all the ratings he ended the previous season with. (They gave him the new haircut.)
A better example might be Michael Bradley. His overall rating jumped from 77 to 79 through the course of the season. His individual ratings such as ball control rose from 78 to 82 and short passing went from 78 to 81. He’ll start the FIFA 2016 season with the ratings he had at the end of my championship season and --judging from his picture -- with less stuble.
3. In FIFA 16, I'm going to use the FIFA MXTRA 16 mod which includes a Canadian Championship and even the NASL teams. I’m glad I don’t have to create a Canadian Championship again.
