Top half of the table seems solid for that squad?
Lots of teams right behind you, not much chance of moving up beyond 8th though.
How many matches left?
What positions are you looking to upgrade?
Planning to build from the academy or buy?

Well, the board is giving me three seasons to get promoted. Given that FIFA usually overshoots a club's talent when assigned goals, the game must think I'm relegation fodder. In real life, this team is... relegation fodder. So, yeah, pretty good to be up there.

There's still a good bit of season left so if I get an injury crisis or something, I could easily plummet down the table. 40 points is typically the mark to be safe from going down so I shouldn't have to worry about that. I'm getting 1.48 points per match now which if I continue over the rest of the year would be historically good enough for 8th-10th so unless I kick that up closer to 2 points per, the playoffs aren't in my cards.

Looking to upgrade the entire squad. Everything. The only two players I foresee remaining on the squad for the next few seasons are Dael Fry, a centerback, and George Saville, a midfielder.

A little bit of both but mostly buy. I need players who are ready to go and win matches now. So, unless I get a guy like Ward who was 68 overall (which was approximately the upper 20% of overalls on the team at the time) coming out of the academy then I can't rely on them too much.
