promotion now? what is the outlook in for y'all in league one?
Yep we're going up to EFL League One. Looks like the board wants us to fight for promotion in that league as well. So the goal will be to get promoted again to the Championship.
how do your team ratings compare to your new competition? are you looking to make any big splashes on the roster now?

We're probably towards the middle of the pack, but the plan is to buy to be one of the top teams. Going to sell a few players who aren't needed and try to bring in reinforcements. Hoping that big teams don't come in for some of my key players from last year like Shawn McCoulsky and Reece Brown.

whats your budget for buying players?
how much do you hope to free up from sells?
how many players are you hoping to bring in?
what are the teams biggest needs?
are you mostly looking to buy older players that are established or younger guys to develop some?
how many more leagues are above you now?
whats your reserve keepers eye colour?
what are the biggest challenges you're facing after promotion?
what are the boards goals for this season?
what size tv do you play on?

Forest Green Rovers Make First Sale of the Summer, James Montgomery

Image
James Montgomery led the entire EFL League Two in clean sheets last year to win the Golden Glove, but that wasn't enough for him to keep his place at Forest Green. Academy keeper, Taylor Jackson, has risen through the ranks at just 17 years old and is expected to take the starting spot. Montgomery was offered the backup role, but refused it and as a result had to be sold. He will be staying in EFL League One though, joining fellow promoted side, Mansfield Town, for a £250,000 fee. 21-year-old keeper, Lewis Thomas, will assume the backup goalkeeper role.

Rovers Raid Coventry Again, This Time for Jodi Jones

Image
Forest Green have completed another deal with Coventry City, this time signing right-winger Jodi Jones for £1,200,000, a club record transfer fee. The youngster is highly skilled both on and off the ball and possesses absolutely electric pace. George Williams was immense for the Rovers last year as a right-sided midfielder, but it appears this year he will have some competition for his place as the starter. Forest Green continue to strengthen going into what will be a challenging season.
