Lloyd James Deemed Surplus to Requirements

Forest Green are looking to strengthen in midfield, and part of that means shipping out the deadwood. Lloyd James did not play particularly well for the side last year, and at 31 years old, clearly has no room for improvement. The club has agreed to let him go to Paris FC for a £360,000 fee and will explore other options in central midfield before the end of the window. For now, Carl Winchester retains his position as the starting #8.

Ight Imma answer

- Budget was £4.5M roughly at the start of the summer
- Maybe gonna have 1.5M or so in sales
- Hoping to bring in 5 I think: backup CAM, backup LCB, LB (done), RM (done), CM
- Biggest need left now is a backup CAM
- Mostly buying younger guys
- 2 more leagues above me (EFL Championship and Premier League)
- Think my reserve appears to have brown eyes
- Biggest challenges are adjusting to better competition in this league and retaining my top players
- Board goals were posted
- 50"
