Looks like promotion isn't really on the table for this year, but you can still make a decent run in the FA cup

Bluebird Notes ‣ CardiffCityFC.co.uk
Feburary 8, 2020
‣ Cardiff Draws Chelsea

After a thrilling win to advance to Round 5 of the FA Cup, Cardiff City has drawn against Chelsea for the next round on March 4th. Cardiff will host the London team that beat Lincoln City 3-0 in Round 4, and Millwall 3-0 in Round 3. Chelsea currently sits in 5th place in the Premier League.

‣ Nelson Impresses in Victory

After finding himself one of three center backs in the squad, Curtis Nelson is getting more playing time. The 26-year-old English defender most recently showed his skills by earning man of the match in against West Bromwich Albion in the FA Cup 4th Round Replay.

Nelson's future at Cardiff is still uncertain but if he wants to stay here he put in a great shift to show that he belongs against West Bromwich.

‣ Cardiff City heads to Luton Town

Cardiff City heads next to Luton Town to face off the team sitting in 23rd in the EFL Championship. The injury crisis that was plaguing Cardiff City has ended; no players are currently listed with an injury.

This is an important match for Cardiff City to pick up 3 points against a bottom dweller. Look for them to push hard and get an early goal.
