Wolves Acquire Andre Silva in Mega Swap Deal

Wolves have completed another massive transfer deal with Valencia after their first one. This time swapping Inaki Williams and £25 million for Andre Silva. Nuno has not been particularly impressed with Inaki Williams since he signed for Wolves last January, and wanted a more clinical striker who also fit into the team's culture better. Enter Andre Silva, the Portuguese national is familiar with many of Wolves' key players like Diogo Jota and Ruben Neves, and is a dangerous poacher in the box with incredible finishing ability. At 25-years-old he should be able to become a mainstay at #9 for Wolves for years to come. Silva will also be on a more modest salary than Williams at £75K/week.

Wolves Pull Off Second Swap, Unload Recently Purchased Davinson Sanchez

In an unprecedented deal, Wolves have agreed to swap Davinson Sanchez, who was bought earlier this window, to Chelsea for Ruben Loftus-Cheek. It's the first time we've seen a player get shifted twice in one transfer window, but Nuno was not liking how shaky the 5-2-3 formation looked despite two wins to start the year, and has opted to move to a 4-3-3 instead. In order to do so, he requires reinforcements in midfield and needs to deplete the surplus of options at the back. Meanwhile, Chelsea needed to strengthen at center-back so this deal worked out perfectly for both sides. In addition to Sanchez, Wolves will send £10M in compensation to Chelsea. Loftus-Cheek is an electric option in midfield who possesses pace, strength, passing ability and a wicked shot. He's not been given a chance to shine at Stamford Bridge, but at Wolves he will be showcased. Loftus-Cheek will wear the #7 shirt and start as one of the two in midfield next to Ruben Neves and in front of Thomas Partey.
