Wolves, Fulham Agree Swap Deal for Ryan Sessegnon

    Image
Wolves have agreed to swap Henry Onyekuru and £12.8M with Fulham for the rights to left-midfielder Ryan Sessegnon. Wolves had been heavily linked with Sessegnon last year in the January transfer window, but opted for Onyekuru when a transfer for Sessegnon fell through at the last moment. They have corrected that mistake with this deal, bringing in the man they originally wanted. Sessegnon will wear the #11 shirt.

Wolves Splash £28M for Everton's Ben Chilwell

    Image
Wolves get their left-back. After losing Jonny suddenly last year in the January transfer window, they were left with Ruben Vinagre and very little else in the position. But now, the club has signed one of England's finest players in the position for a £28.3M fee. Chilwell will immediately come in as the starter and wear the #3 shirt. He will earn £70K per week, in line with some of the other top earners at the club.

Wolves Sell William Carvalho to Manchester City for £40,000,000

    Image
Wolves have sold William Carvalho to Premier League rivals, Manchester City, in a somewhat surprising move. The 28-year-old defensive midfielder will move for a £40,000,000 fee and a dramatically increased wage at Manchester City. Carvalho was somewhat lackluster for Wolves last season, doing very little to help a porous defense and not contributing much in attack so some are actually glad to see him go. Wolves will explore bringing in a younger option in defensive midfield this summer.

    Rafa Mir Sold to Sassuolo

    Image
Wolves have sold 22-year-old striker, Rafa Mir, to Sassuolo for an £11M fee. The striker showed some promise in 2018-19 as a reserve, but spent last year on a somewhat mediocre loan spell in LaLiga. He is not part of Nuno's plans and has been moved on accordingly.

Wolves Sell Rui Patricio to West Ham United, Call Up Liam Jackson

    Image
Wolves have sold 32-year-old goalkeeper Rui Patricio to West Ham United for a £24,700,000 fee. Once considered a talisman of the team, Patricio had a very poor season last year. The club has decided to hand Muric the starting job and number one shirt and call up one of the academy's best talents, the 6'5 GK standout Liam Jackson to become the full-time backup. As such, there is no room for Patricio in the side and he has been sold.

Wolves Sign Liverpool Prospect, Joe Gomez, for £19M

    Image
Wolves have made a major statement, signing one of the top young players at one of the biggest clubs in England with the purchase of Joe Gomez for a £19M fee. The young Gomez wanted to play Champions League football, and with Liverpool finishing 9th last year, they simply could not offer that. Wolves have taken advantage and will now play the extremely athletic center-back alongside another speedster in Mario Hermoso, giving them one of the most dynamic pairings in the country.
