After winning the treble with Wolverhampton Wanderers, Nuno Espírito Santo has decided to take on a new challenge at Juventus in the Italian Serie A. After days of speculation around his future, Juventus reached a deal worth £111,000 a week to tempt the Portuguese manager away from Wolves. Nuno expects to deliver big things at his new club, "I'm excited to be here at this club. Hopefully I can help deliver everything that this club is hoping for in the competitions over the next season and beyond, especially the elusive Champions League", he stated outside Juventus' training ground facilities.

Wolves were on top form as Nuno left the club in the lurch with his move to Juventus. Some might wonder what his reasoning was behind choosing to leave a club on the rise, but fans of Juventus will be hoping the winning streak follows him. Nuno will have to skip the celebration though as the season is fast approaching and starting strong will be key to winning over skeptical Juventus fans. 23-year-old left-back Pietro Beruatto has become the first outgoing transfer under Nuno, moving to Galatasaray for a £2.25 million fee. With five players in the position, Beruatto was deemed surplus to requirements.

Like the left-back position, Juventus have a serious surplus in central attacking midfield, and have thus decided to move on the very talented Nabil Fekir. The Frenchman will move to Real Madrid for a reported £49 million fee.

In another squad-clearing move, Juventus have sold center-back Toby Alderweireld to Chelsea. While Toby was still productive last year, it is time for the younger De Ligt and Lenglet to feature primarily as the starting pairing at the back.

Striker, Robert Lewandowski, will join Napoli for £21,300,000 as the clear-out at Juventus continues.

Juventus have purchased 23 year old central defensive midfielder, Sandro Tonali, from Brescia for £30 million. The defensive midfielder will be right at home in Nuno's system and should get plenty of game time in the midfield three. He will earn £80K per week as he becomes the club's first purchase of the summer window.
