Match #1: Andrade w/ Zelina Vega vs. Aleister Black| One on One | Money in the Bank Qualifier
To open up the very first episode of RAW under Triple H's control, two stars who've often been relegated to the backdrop under Vince, faced each other for a chance to compete in the Money in the Bank ladder match. Aleister Black controlled the match early with his kicks and martial arts style, but Andrade nearly stole the victory when his manager Zelina Vega distracted Black, and he used the opening to roll him up for a two count. As the match continued though, Black regained control, eventually hitting Andrade with the Black Mass after a sequence of attacks between the two, to earn the first spot in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match.

Match #3: Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Velveteen Dream | One on One | Money in the Bank Qualifier
Another one of Triple H's former NXT prospects made his debut here, Velveteen Dream, in a Money in the Bank Qualifier against the Intercontinental Champion, Shinsuke Nakamura. Both superstars are known for their flamboyant personas and wrestling styles but also their hard hitting strikes, and both showcased that in this matchup. Things went back and forth and Shinsuke hit Velveteen with an Inverted Exploder Suplex. He lined up the Kinshasa but Dream ducked out of the way before hitting him with a Dream Valley Driver. He climbed the top rope and went for his Purple Rainmaker Elbow Drop and connected to pick up a shocking win over Nakamura in his first ever RAW match and book his spot in the Money in the Bank ladder match.

Main Event: The Club vs. The Street Profits | Tag Team
The RAW Tag Team Champions, The Street Profits, did an excellent job of isolating Karl Anderson from his teammate Luke Gallows. After being tagged in, he was never able to make a tag to get out, and eventually was completely worn down by the Profits and pinned in a convincing win for the champs.

Show Closer Promo: Bobby Lashley
With WWE being reduced to just one show now, RAW, there was a new problem. Two champions. Bobby Lashley still had the WWE Championship, while Roman Reigns had the Universal Championship. Lashley came out to rectify that situation, calling out Reigns and stating that they should have a title unification match at Money in the Bank to determine who actually is the TRUE WWE Universal Champion. Reigns came out not long afterwards with his advocate Paul Heyman, who spoke, "My client, Roman Reigns, accepts the terms of your agreement Mr. Lashley, however, HE will choose the stipulation for that match at a later date." Heyman and Reigns walked off looking smug as Lashley stood in the ring nodding, ready for whatever challenge they were going to throw at him.
