May Year 1 | Week 1 | Orlando, FL

Match #1: Kurt Angle vs. AJ Styles w/ The Club | One on One
The TNA World Heavyweight champion opened up the first episode of Impact with a dominating display over AJ Styles. Styles never really got into the match, and despite having The Club at ringside with him, was put away easily by the Wrestling Machine with an Angle Slam.

Match #2: Sting vs. Randy Savage w/ nWo | One on One | Money in the Bank Qualifier
The nWo got heavily involved in this match. Sting was starting to gain momentum but then Lex Luger jumped up on the apron to distract him allowing Savage to get the roll-up pin, but Sting kicked out at two. Savage started to take control, hitting the Diving Double Axe Handle for a two count before setting up for his Diving Elbow Drop finisher. But before he could execute it, Sting got up and Superplexed him off the top rope, then hit a Scorpion Death Drop on him to get the win. Sting escaped before the nWo could rush the ring then celebrated on the stage having earned the first spot in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match at Crypto Cashout where the winner would get a guaranteed title shot anytime, anyplace they wanted it.

Match #3: Mickie James vs. Charlotte Flair w/ Ric Flair | One on One
Charlotte Flair made her debut in professional wrestling flanked by her father, Ric Flair, but it wasn't exactly the way we expected. She jumped Mickie from behind during her entrance and attacked her before throwing her into the ring. Mickie was able to get back into it, but the "Dirtiest Player in the Game" got involved and distracted her briefly allowing Charlotte to roll her up for the pin. Flair wasn't satisfied with just that though as she then started stomping on the Knockouts Champion, before hitting her with the Natural Selection to leave her laying out cold in the center of the ring. Major statement from Charlotte in her debut.

Main Event: Hardy Boyz vs. Lucha Dragons | Tag Team
Quite possibly TNA's biggest acquisition, The Hardy Boyz, made their debut in the main event, but with a totally new look. They were both dressed in long robes and Jeff was holding a lantern while Matt moved around it erratically. The crowd wasn't sure whether to cheer or boo, although it became evident that they should do the latter when they attacked the fan favourite, Lucha Dragons, before the match even started. That didn't end up paying off though. The referee called for the bell to ring and Jeff tried to roll up Sin Cara, but Cara ended up reversing it and keeping Jeff's arms pinned to the mat for three to lead to a disastrous TNA debut loss for the Hardyz. They were pissed off though and immediately attacked Sin Cara and Kalisto, laying waste to both of the Lucha Dragons. Matt then grabbed a microphone and said just one sentence, "Things are about to get BROKEN."

Show Closer Promo: Samoa Joe
To close out the show, the X-Division Champion, Samoa Joe, took his place in the center of the ring. He started bragging about how he'd beaten everyone there is to beat and dared anyone to challenge him. Out came a creepy looking new superstar, Eric Young. Young was short of stature so Joe mocked him and stated that he wasn't even worthy of challenging him, but then Young seemingly out of nowhere clotheslined Joe and knocked him flat on his back. When Samoa Joe got up he nearly got hit with another one, but quickly rolled out of the ring. He grabbed his X-Division title and held it high outside the ring as Eric Young rattled the ropes and dared him to come back in. Looks like he's found his challenger.
