Tuesday Throwdown #10
Week 3, July 2021

The tenth episode of Throwdown! began with Mr. Van Cise addressing the crowd. He got a pop after mentioning that it was the tenth episode and that Throwdown! was going strong.

Van Cise then announced that Throwdown! would be adding a second belt, the Throwdown! Women's Championship. There would be a tournament starting tonight and the title fight would take place at the September pay per view!

Image

Van Cise then said that Dynamite had been a pain in the ass all week, begging to face him in a match tonight so he would humor him. In a three on three tag match and he said Dynamite could choose whoever he wanted on the roster to be his partners. Dynamite and his partners would face Van Cise, Braden Wayne and the newest member of the Corporation, Larry Lane.

Finally he said the main event would be a tag team match with some new tag tams as Throwdown! needed to build it's tag division up. Van Cise would be picking the teams right before the match.

Match Card
The Corporation vs Dynamite and two mystery partners
4. Tiffany Thunder vs 5. Samantha Storm (Women's Championship Tournament)
Mystery Tage Team Match

Match One
The Corporation vs Dynamite, ??? and ???

Van Cise and the Corporation made their way to the ring together first.

Image

Next up was Dynamite.

Image

Then mystery partner number one.

Image

And finally mystery partner number two.

Image

The members of the Corporation looked shocked, not expecting to have to face three of the top talents on the Throwdown! roster at once.

Dynamite and Van Cise started in the ring and it was all Dynamite at first. Dynamite went for a couple of pin attempts but had them broken up before tagging Xixak, who took it to Larry Lane for some time, also having a few pins broken up.

The Corporation was getting manhandled but kept the match going with less than legal tactics.

Eventually, Xixak was able to get the pin on Van Cise for the win, with Lane out of the picture and T'NE and Dynamite ready to prevent another pin break up.

Image

The celebration after the win was a lengthy one, with the crowd very much behind the victors.

Image

Winners: Dynamite, King T'NE and Xixak

Match Two
Tiffany Thunder with Loki Lightning vs Samantha Storm with Scotty Storm

Thunder used her size and power advantage from the jump and went for an early pin but only got a one count.

Image

After a powerbomb, a cobra clutch toss and a leg drop Thunder went for the submission but Storm fought out of it and hit Thunder with a big kick and a frankensteiner followed by a moonsault before Thunder went back on the offensive and sent Storm out of the ring.

Image

Storm did well to fight back before Thunder hit her with a samoan drop.

Image

The back and forth continued before Storm took down Thunder and went to the top rope for a flying elbow drop.

Image

The high flying move resulted in a two count for Storm but Thunder would not be denied, hitting a pair of jackhammers and finally securing the win.

Winner: Tiffany Thunder

Van Cise then came to the stage with a large hat and announced that the following tag team match would be between whoever's names were pulled from the hat.

"Team number one." He said as he started pulling names. "Dagger...and...D-Tribe." The crowd popped.

"And their opponents...Drake Travis...and...Billy Boyd." Big time boos, the crowd was clearly between Dagger and D-Tribe.

Match Three
Dagger and D-Tribe vs Drake Travis and Billy Boyd

Dagger and Drake started in the ring and the big man showed his strength early with a scoop slam.

Dagger laid into Drake on the turnbuckle and hit him with a knee to the face before tagging in D-Tribe for the double team.

D-Tribe was dominating before Drake reversed a suplex and got a one count.

Image

Boyd got in on the action and D-Tribe continued to control the match, getting Boyd into his corner before tagging in Dagger for another double team move.

Image

Image

Boyd attacked Dagger with knees and got a one count.

Back to Drake who went on the offensive and tossed Dagger out of the ring twice, before Dagger recovered and hit a vertical suplex on the American Dream on the outside.

D-Tribe got a two count on Boyd after a salida del sol but Boyd fought back after D-Tribe missed on a top rope move.

D-Tribe crawled to Dagger for a tag and the big man from Brooklyn fell victim to a Boyd superman punch, giving the Boyd and Travis duo the win, much to the chagrin of the crowd.

Winners: Billy Boyd and Drake Travis

Before the end of the show a clip of Dynamite, KING T'NE and Xixak still celebrating their win by sharing beverages and watching a replay of the match highlights was shown.

Tuesday Throwdown #11
Week 4, July 2021

Mr. Van Cise announced via video that he and the rest of the Corporation were away finishing up some business and that he would be back in time to "kick Dynamite's ass, one on one this time, before the end of the show. He then held up a note card with the list of matches on it.

Match Card
3. Becca Blaze vs 6. Mean Green (Women's Championship Tournament)
Thunder & Lightning vs The Iiconics
Yamamotos vs Mr. Grimm and Captain Jack
Dynamite vs Mr. Van Cise

Match One
3. Becca Blaze vs 6. Mean Green (Women's Championship Tournament)

Becca Blaze did not back down from the challenge from the much larger and stronger Mean Green, who was making her in ring debut in the match. Blaze was upset with a very long two and a half count and got distracted, allowing Mean Green to reverse mounted punches and get the three count. Blaze looked to have gotten her foot on the ropes before three but it was not seen by the refferree.

Winner: Mean Green

Match Two
Thunder & Lightning vs The Iiconics

Loki Lightning and Billie Kay started off in the ring and it was back and forth between the duo. The match spilled outside the ring with Kay bouncing Lightning off the ring steps at one point. Kay tossed Lightning back in at the count of six. Royce and Thunder were tagged in and Royce continued the Iiconics momentum before Thunder hit a big slam and leg drop, taking control of the match before tagging Loki back in. Loki got a long one count. Billie Kay broke up an arm bar and distracted Loki long enough for Peyton Royce to recover and hit Loki with a kick to the face and score the three count. The iiconics, signed just days ago, had won their debut match with Throwdown!

Winners: The Iiconics

Match Three
Yamamotos vs Mr. Grimm and Captain Jack

Another of Van Cise's random draw tag team matches resulted in Mr. Grimm and Captain Jack teaming up against the Yamamotos. Grimm and Yuri began the match and it was all Grimm with a 300 pound plus advantage. After working over Yuri for a few minutes he tagged in Captain Jack and Yuri turned the tides, dragging Captain jack into the corner for a double team maneuver. Akira hit a neck breaker and a double knee before tagging in Yuri. Captain Jack tagged in Grimm who quickly tossed Yuri out over the top rope. Back to Captain Jack and an exchange of suplexes between he and Yuri. Akira tagged in and was quickly kicked off the apron out of the ring. Akira missed a move off the top rope to the outside and Jack took advantage, tossing the smaller Yamamoto around on the outside. Akira recovered only to be hit with a big double hip toss before tagging Yuri back in. Yuri hit Grimm with a DDT and got a two count. Yuri hit a flying elbow drop then got Grimm in a tilt a whirl arm bar but the monster broke free and decimated Yuri with a scoop slam. The back and forth continued until Jack was able to get the pin with Grimm preventing a break up.

Winners: Captain Jack and Mr. Grimm

Match Four
Dynamite vs Mr. Van Cise

Mr. Van Cise wasted no time, attacking Dynamite during his entrance, expecting to get a leg up on the competition. All he really managed to do was further infuriate the big man. Once the match moved back in the ring Dynamite dominated, tossing Van Cise all over the ring before ending the match with a firestorm of blows to the head with a kendo stick.

Winner: Mr. Van Cise by DQ
