Tuesday Throwdown #7
Week 4, June 2021

Mr. Van Cise cut straight to the chase to open Throwdown.

"We have a very exciting match card tonight. I've been able to confirm that KING T'NE and Mr. Grimm are both here, in the building at this moment. They will have their tournament match tonight."

After a pause he continued.

"Xixak will take on Captain Jack for a spot in the main event at Throwdown Fireworks. Myself and Braden will represent the Corporation against the Yamamotos in a tag match and the three who lost tournament matches last week will go at it in a triple threat."

The crowd popped and Van Cise held up a finger.

"Also, it was brought to my attention that Dynamite's victory last week may have been less than honest. So I am inserting him into the KING T'NE and Mr. Grimm match tonight and that's for the second spot in the Throwdown Championship match to headline Fireworks."

Van Cise peaced out.

Match Card
The Corporation vs The Yamamotos
Dagger vs D-Tribe vs Drake Travis
Xixak vs Captain Jack
Dynamite vs KING T'NE vs Mr. Grimm

Match One
The Corporation vs The Yamamotos

Van Cise and Yuri started things off with a nice back and forth before Akira was tagged in. He his a quick DDT on Van Cise and got a two count. Van Cise hit a scoop slam and tagged in Wayne. Van Cise tagged back in and dropped Akira face first on the turnbuckle before tagging Wayne back in. Akira hit a pin drop and tagged in Yuri, who Wayne promptly tossed out of the ring

Later the action spilled back out onto the apron. Back in the ring, Wayne bloodied the face of Akira with a big kick then tagged Van Cise back in. Van Cise hit a pedigree and went for the tag but Yuri broke it up. Akira dove for a tag and Yuri swung momentum back to the Yamamotos. Eventually Van Cise got the pin on Akira with Yuri occupied outside the ring.

Winners: The Corporation by pinfall

Match Two
Dagger vs D-Tribe vs Drake Travis

Each of the three looked like they were finished multiple times throughout the match, only to have the third competitor break up a pinfall and keep the match going. Eventually it was Dagger who was able to take advantage of D-Tribe being stunned outside the ring and hit Drake Travis with a barrage of moves including a low blow to secure a win.

Winner: Dagger by pinfall

Match Three
Xixak vs Captain Jack

Next up was Xixak vs Captain Jack, who had upset Dagger last week, for a shot at the Throwdown Championship in the Main Event at Throwdown Fireworks.

Captain Jack went on the offensive early, connecting on a number of kicks and blows. Eventually, Xixak imposed his will and took control before a suplex and DDT swung things back to Captain Jack's favor. The two exchanged big kicks. Xixak hit a broken arrow and a standing moonsault before another onslaught by Captain Jack. Momentum continued to swing back and forth. After countering a turnbuckle move by Captain Jack with a superkick to the face Xixak hit the curb stomp and pinned the bloodied Captain Jack to punch his ticket to the Fireworks main event and a shot at the title! The crowd went wild!

Winner: Xixak by pinfall

Match Four
Dynamite vs KING T'NE vs Mr. Grimm

The pops from the crowd for all three of the wrestlers was big, Dynamite and KING T'NE were mostly cheered while Mr. Grimm was largely bood.

Dynamite, who would have originally faced the winner of the match between KING T'NE and Mr. Grimm, went after Grimm early before stepping aside and letting the two go at each other. T'NE hit Grimm with a nice moonsault and got a one count. The match went back and forth both inside and out of the ring. With Dynamite stunned outside the ring Mr. Grimm hit T'NE with an Alabama slam and got a two count.

Mr. Grimm showed his strength, hitting Dynamite with a combination of tosses and splashed before also landing the Alabama slam on him. Grimm was only able to secure a two count before T'NE returned to the ring and broke it up. Mr Grimm went for a top rope splash on Dynamite who countered it into a scoop slam. T'NE took advantage and hit Dynamite with a kick from the top rope then nailed Mr. Grimm with a flying punch and got another 2 count.

Eventually a wild sequence ended the match, see for yourself:

Winner: KING T'NE by pinfall

Tuesday Throwdown #8
Week 1, July 2021

Mr. Van Cise came to the stage and talked about the upcoming PPV, selling the Xixak vs KING T'NE title match hard. He also indicated there would be a few surprises and that the crowd was going to be huge at Gilllette Stadium.

He then said that there were five wrestlers making their debut tonight and that Throwdown continues to expand and get better and better.

Van Cise explained that Mr. Grimm had been very angry at him for not doing anything about him being shafted in the table match a couple weeks ago and that he and Grimm would face off tonight.

He said that Dynamite and Drake Travis had been at each other's throats lately so he was making them team up tonight.

Van Cise finished by saying that it seemed like some people had forgotten who was in charge and with the PPV coming up he was going to make sure everyone remembered.

Match Card
Scotty and Samantha Storm vs The Legend Larry Lane and Becca Blaze
Captain Jack vs Country Boy Billy Boyd vs D-Tribe vs Dagger
Mr. Van Cise vs Mr. Grimm
Yamamotos vs Drake Travis and Dynamite

Match One
Scotty and Samantha Storm vs The Legend Larry Lane and Becca Blaze

All new additions in the first match as high flyers Scotty and Samantha Storm take on the old school Larry Lane and former MMA striker Becca Blaze in a mixed gender tag team match.

Becca and Samantha started things off in the ring and Becca went right after Samantha with a number of strikes. Sam fought back and tagged in Scotty as Becca tagged in Larry Lane as well.

Lane went old school and slowed things down, keeping the younger and faster Storm on the mat. Storm hit a sunset flip and tagged in Samantha.

Sam hit a facebuster then tagged in Scotty. Once again Lane kept things on the mat and managed a pair of two counts that Samantha broke up. The two teams went back and forth, making rapid tags.

Eventually Larry Lane was able to get the pinfall on Scotty Storm to secure the win.

Winners: Larry Lane and Becca Blaze

Match Two
Captain Jack vs Country Boy Billy Boyd vs D-Tribe vs Dagger

Another debut match as Country Boy Billy Boyd got in the ring for the first time, facing off against Captain Jack, D-Tribe and Dagger in a fatal four way.

D-Tribe and Dagger worked together at the start, taking it to Boyd and Captain Jack. D-Tribe made the first pin attempt, getting a two count on Captain Jack. A few minutes later D-Tribe hit a salida del sol on Dagger and got a two count with the others outside the ring.

Dagger's size advantage would prove to be the difference maker as he took down D-Tribe and scored a three count.

Winner: Dagger by pinfall

Match Three
Mr Van Cise vs Mr Grimm

Mr. Grimm finally gets a chance to show Van Cise how upset he is with him after getting bamboozled a couple of weeks ago when a table match victory was incorrectly awarded to D-Tribe.

Grimm took it to Van Cise right from the opening bell, using his significant size and power advantages.

Van Cise fought back, hitting the pedigree and getting a two count.

After another 2 count for Van Cise Mr. Grimm went on the offensive, he caught Van Cise with a big boot to the face to get a two count of his own.

An Alabama slam earned another two from the referee.

Van Cise hit another pair of pedigrees and finally got the pin on Mr. Grimm for the win.

Winner: Mr. Van Cise by pinfall

Match Four
Yamamotos vs Drake Travis and Dynamite

No love lost between Travis and Dynamite and it showed.

Dynamite refused to tag in Travis for much of the match, taking his frustrations out on the Yamamotos.

After a number of 2 counts where the Yamamotos broke them up and Dynamite was clearly upset with Travis' for not getting in the ring quickly enough he tagged him in.

The brothers from Japan quickly took advantage of Travis and secured the win with Dynamite only half trying to break up the pin.

Winners:Yamamotos by pinfall

After the matches ended some clips played on the main screen. First was a disagreement between Mr. Van Cise and Braden Wayne. Van Cise was upset that Wayne hadn't interfered in his match against Mr. Grimm while Wayne defended the fact that he had still won.

"I'm glad I don't have to wrestle with you at Fireworks! Get out!" Van Cise ended the conversation.

Next was a clip of Dynamite and Drake Travis having an argument about their loss to the Yamamotos. That spat ended when Travis hit Dynamite with his flag.

Next was footage of Brittany B stalking Isabella Ivy through the corridor before hitting her with a DDT on the cement floor and bloodying her. Brittany B ran off before Ivy was able to identify the culprit.

Lastly, video of a large square on the back of a flatbed truck was shown arriving at Gillette Stadium. The crowd went wild and the screens faded out.
