Prototype pounds away at Donny Zenk during their pre-match brawl.

Welcome to LAW: Long Beach! Tonight, we're bringing you an explosive show packed with action and excitement. We're kicking off a thrilling tournament to crown our first ever LAW Heavyweight Champion. Prepare for two intense quarter-final matches and a unique tag team battle for the final quarter-final spot. Because there are 10 wrestlers on our LAW roster, we don't have an even 8 to have a single elimination tournament. Well what better fix for that than a play-in? That's right, the tag teams of Yuri Yamamoto & Mansa and Capital Gains & Apollo will face off in our main event, with the winning tag team taking the final quarter-final spot and facing each other next week. The members of the losing team will not participate in the tournament. Our first quarter-finals will feature the "American Nightmare" Donny Zenk and Prototype competing one on one, showcasing their skills and determination to claim a spot in the semi-finals. In tonight's second match, the the enigmatic Voodoo will face the laid-back OG Tyson for the second spot in the semi-finals. Next week, the only two stars not in action tonight, Bulk Bronson and Diego Dominguez, will compete in the third quarter-final. Get ready for high stakes, unforgettable moments, and non-stop action as these competitors give their all to seize their shot at championship glory. Join us as LAW delivers an unforgettable night of passion, strength, and the birth of legends. Let the tournament begin!

Match #1: Donny Zenk (0-0) vs. Prototype (0-0) | One on One | LAW Heavyweight Championship Quarter-Final :threehalfstar:
Donny Zenk attacked Prototype before the match even got started, leading to an all out brawl between the two superstars. Despite being the one ambushed, Prototype came out on top before the referee finally signaled for the bell for the real match to start. Prototype continued to press the advantage, using his superior technical ability and strength to ground Donny Zenk's attempts at an aerial assault. He seemed to be well on his way to a win against the American Nightmare, but things turned when Prototype attempted to go for the Protoplex. Zenk slipped out of it and slid under the bottom rope. When Prototype came after him, Zenk got a cheap shot in with a poke to the eyes outside of the referee's view. He took advantage of a disoriented Prototype, hitting him with a devastating Buckshot Lariat to pin him to the mat for three and claim the first spot in the championship semi-finals.

Match #2: Voodoo (0-0) vs. OG Tyson (0-0) | One on One | LAW Heavyweight Championship Quarter-Final :twohalfstar:
Voodoo reached out a hand to shake with OG Tyson before the match, but when OGT went for it he pulled away. That sent the normally chill, OG Tyson, into a fit of rage and he started launching a flurry of attacks on Voodoo. The monster was on the defensive, but OGT did not let up at all as he continued to go at Voodoo with speed and power. Even when Voodoo was able to briefly escape and get some relief outside the ring, Tyson would send himself flying over the ropes, hurling his body at his opponent to continue to inflict punishment. Eventually, OG was able to isolate Voodoo in the corner and hit the Split-Leg Moonsault and follow that up with a Swanton Bomb to get a shockingly dominant win over his opponent. After he got the win, he returned to his normal, mellow self and decided to do a little victory dance for the fans.

Main Event: Mansa (0-0) & Yuri Yamamoto (0-0) vs. Capital Gains (0-0) & Apollo (0-0)| Tag Team | LAW Heavyweight Championship Play-In :threestar:
High stakes in this main event as the losing tag team would not be entered into the LAW Heavyweight Championship tournament. And you could see just how much it meant to all four competitors from the action in the ring. Everyone was going all out as both teams traded their share of moves and momentum swung both directions. At one point late in the match, Capital Gains was in the ring taking on Yuri Yamamoto, the two went through a series of irish whips, running past each other and dodging the other's moves before Yuri hit Gains with a Kinshasa seemingly out of nowhere. He went for the pin but Apollo scrambled into the ring to break it up. Mansa didn't like that so he tossed Apollo out of the ring and started whaling on him there, hitting him with a superkick to leave him dazed on the floor. He then jumped back on the apron and Yamamoto tagged him in, throwing Mansa in off the top rope directly onto Capital Gains for a splash and two count. Mansa immediately sprung back into action after two though, hitting Gains with the MKO as soon as he got to his feet. Apollo was nowhere to be found this time to break up the pin as Mansa and Yuri Yamamoto booked their tickets to a quarter-final matchup against each other next week. After the match a pissed off Capital Gains took of his belt and started beating the hell out of Apollo with it.

Great first show. A couple of upsets in the first two matches. Prototype and Zenk would be a good rivalry going forward. :yup:
