STAMFORD, CT --- In a groundbreaking turn of events within the world of professional wrestling, the iconic WCW Nitro has made a triumphant return, supplanting the long-standing slots of RAW and Smackdown. This seismic shift has given rise to a unified wrestling entity, seamlessly merging the legacies of WWE and WCW. Within this transformative era, four prestigious championships have been introduced, each with its own storied history and significance.

At the zenith of this merger, the WCW World Heavyweight Championship emerges as the ultimate prize, bringing together the formidable Roman Reigns, a former WWE Champion, and Seth Rollins, renowned as the World Heavyweight Champion. Their clash promises to define an era and establish the preeminent force in this newly unified wrestling landscape.

Simultaneously, Logan Paul, known for his prominence in the entertainment realm, and being the most recent holder of the WWE United States Championship, is bestowed with the WCW United States Championship, symbolizing a crossroads between the worlds of pop culture and professional wrestling. The Cruiserweight division witnesses a resurgence through a dynamic six-man tournament featuring the aerial expertise of Chad Gable, the enigma Finn Balor, the relentless Ilja Dragunov, the cunning Santos Escobar, the tenacious Tommaso Ciampa, and the agile Wes Lee. Their journey culminates in a riveting triple threat ladder match, redefining the essence of cruiserweight competition.

The women's division, too, experiences a monumental collision as former WWE Women's Champion Iyo Sky faces off against Women's World Champion Rhea Ripley for the prestigious WCW Women's Championship. The clash of contrasting styles and compelling personalities promises a spectacle that transcends the boundaries of tradition.

As the curtain rises on this new chapter in professional wrestling, the unified brand offers a platform where every match is a potential dream bout. The fusion of legacies, the clash of titans, and the birth of these four distinct championships mark a pivotal moment in the annals of the sport, inviting both competitors and fans alike to witness the dawn of a new era.

Match #1: Iyo Sky vs. Becky Lynch | One on One :fourstar:
Iyo Sky and Becky Lynch opened up the first ever episode of the new WCW Nitro show with a singles match. Iyo Sky dominated the ring with her technical prowess against Becky Lynch. Sky showcased her mastery, dictating the pace and nearly sealing the victory. However, Lynch, resilient as ever, turned the tables with a sudden Manhandle Slam, stunning the audience. In a surprising twist, Becky secured the win. A frustrated Iyo Sky stood in the ring after until Rhea Ripley, her opponent at the next PPV, Spring Stampede, came out to confront her. Rhea mocked her for losing saying that if she couldn't beat Becky there's no way she could expect to beat her for the WCW Women's Championship in four weeks.

Main Event: Seth Rollins vs. Montez Ford | One on One :threestar:
Roman Reigns, Rollins opponent for the WCW World Heavyweight title at Spring Stampede, attacked him from behind before this match even started. He went into the battle wounded and a hungry Montez Ford took advantage dominating most of the matchup. Ford hit a Running Blockbuster on Rollins and started setting up for the Frog Splash to put him away for good. When he went for it though, Seth rolled out of the way at the last second and quickly caught a disoriented Ford with the Curb Stomp to pick up the victory. He ended the night on a positive but Rollins will have to be wary of future attacks from Reigns.
