Then when the match finally did start, Xixak immediately blasted Roman Reigns over the head with a kendo stick resulting in a DQ. The SHIELD won the match but were then subjected to an assault with weapons by X-Pac and Xixak who stood tall over them in the ring. That was until, Smackdown GM, Teddy Long, came out and declared, "Now that's not gonna do playa! You think you're getting out of defending those belts properly tonight? You're not. Congratulations, you'll have TWO matches tonight when you face The Usos in the main event! Holla holla holla!" Xixak and X-Pac looked at each other in disbelief as the show cut to commercial.

Winner: SHIELD by DQ.

They countered the attack and ended up winning the opening brawl before the match got started. Jey then took on Xixak to start things, but Xixak was able to turn the tide a bit with a spear that forced Jey to tag in his brother. X-Pac ran interference though, distracting Jimmy multiple times allowing Xixak to get a spear on him as well and follow that up with a Running Knee. Jey attempted to run in to break up the pinfall but X-Pac hit him with the X-Factor as Xixak covered Jimmy to secure D-X's successful title defense.

Winner: D-X by pinfall.

December 2006 | Night of Champions | PPV
Xixak throws up the D-X "X" with his title in tow.
Match #1: D-Generation X (c) vs. The SHIELD vs. The Usos | Triple Threat TLC | World Tag Team Championships
Teddy Long was upset with the way D-X used nefarious methods to retain their belts on Smackdown! against The SHIELD and The Usos, so now at Night of Champions they would kick off the show by defending their titles in a triple threat, table, ladders and chairs match. That didn't really work though. Xixak and X-Pac let SHIELD and the Usos battle it out while X-Pac quietly set up a ladder in the ring. Xixak scaled it and secured the titles just minutes into the match as D-X easily retained their belts.
► Show Spoiler
Winner: D-Generation X

Let's keep the tag title reign rolling
Do you control XPac in your matches?
If so what do you like/dislike about the differences in their attributes and move sets?
