Match #1: Kane w/ Undertaker vs. Triple H w/ Shawn Michaels | One on One :threestar:
Stephanie McMahon, the newly appointed CEO of WWE decreed before this match that if her husband, HHH, were able to beat Kane in a one on one matchup that would secure an opportunity for him and Shawn Michaels, DX, to face the Brothers of Destruction at the next PPV for the World Tag Team Titles. Kane put up a very good fight but eventually was pinned after a catching Pedigree finisher from The Game.

Match #2: AJ Styles vs. Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Sheamus | Triple Threat | US Championship #1 Contender :threestar:
To determine the #1 contender for Booker T's United States Championship, McMahon gave three of WWE's newest members a unique opportunity to face each other in a triple threat matchup. The winner would get a shot at Booker's belt at Backlash. Sheamus ended up brutalizing both Styles and Nakamura after his impressive showing against Booker last week. He went for the pin after a Brogue Kick on Styles but Nakamura broke it up. He then took out Nakamura and threw him out of the ring. Styles tried to capitalize while Sheamus wasn't paying attention to him but ended up running right into a second Brogue Kick and eating a pinfall as Sheamus booked his US title shot.

Match #3: Finn Balor vs. Rob Van Dam | One on One | Intercontinental Championship #1 Contender :threestar:
Continuing on with the theme of giving young guys opportunities, Stephanie McMahon announced the debut of another Irish superstar, Finn Balor. The young upstart was going to get a chance against Rob Van Dam to become the #1 contender for Eddie Guerrero's Intercontinental Championship. Balor seized upon it immediately, not even bothering to finish his entrance and instead rushing the ring to brutalize Van Dam early. RVD got back into things when the bell rang but that early advantage played on throughout the match. Van Dam started to build some momentum and went for the Rolling Thunder but Balor got his knees up at the last second. He then picked up RVD for the 1916 before climbing the top rope. Finn then hit a double foot stomp from the top rope that he calls the "Coup de Grace", nearly fracturing RVD's ribcage before picking up an insanely impressive pinfall victory.

Main Event: Umaga vs. Rock | One on One :fourhalfstar:
Umaga wanted revenge on his distant family member, The Rock after he interfered and cost him his match against British Bulldog last week. So he challenged him to a one on one non-title match. At least... it was supposed to be one on one. Not long after the match started, Jimmy Uso, who was supposed to still be in WWE Developmental, came to ringside seemingly in Umaga, his uncle's corner. He then proceeded to regularly interfere in the match. The Rock had Umaga dead to rights a couple times but Jimmy distracted the ref and just ran enough interference to prevent The Great One from picking up the victory. The tables really turned when Jimmy removed the turnbuckle pad and Umaga whipped Rock headfirst into it right after. That left Rocky in a daze for just long enough to eat a Samoan Spike and Umaga to pick up a huge win. After the match, Umaga kneeled down next to Rock and grabbed a microphone declaring proudly, "Now... I'M the Tribal Chief."

Match #1: Gunther w/ Imperium vs. Eddie Guerrero (c) w/ Latino World Order | One on One | Intercontinental Championship :threehalfstar:
Eddie Guerrero successfully retained his belt against the debuting Gunther and Imperium after hitting Gunther with two Five Star Frog Splashes. He was flanked by the new lWo faction, Rey Mysterio and Santos Escobar.

Match #2: Beth Phoenix vs. Lita vs. Trish Stratus (C) | Triple Threat | Women's Championship :fivestar:
This was an absolute classic. The women's division was reinstated with Trish Stratus reinstated as champion and she, Beth and Lita put on an absolute show in this title bout. All three women came close to winning at different points in the match, but the third woman was always there to break up the pinfall. Trish was eventually able to settle things when she hit Lita with a Chick Kick, but instead of going for the pin right away, smartly waited for Beth Phoenix to come after her. She used Beth's momentum against her, flinging her out of the ring, allowing her to pin Lita undeterred and retain the belt.

Match #3: D-Generation X vs. Brothers of Destruction (c) | Tag Team | World Tag Team Championships :threestar:
The Brothers of Destruction came out with Paul Bearer while DX came out with Chyna. The story ended up being the same as their last title match, however, with Undertaker eventually getting the Tombstone on Shawn Michaels to pick up the victory. It will be interesting to see who steps up next in the tag division to challenge Kane and Taker.

Main Event: Umaga (c) vs. Rock | One on One | No Holds Barred :fourhalfstar:
The last time Umaga and Rock faced off, Jimmy Uso in his debut helped Umaga beat The People's Champ. However, something different happened today. Umaga entered the ring waiting for his challenger but when The Rock came out a new message reading "The Bloodline" was on the titantron. After he came out he was quickly flanked by Jimmy Uso, his twin brother Jey Uso and a debuting Roman Reigns. Three members of the famous A'noai family. The Rock smiled and spoke into the microphone, "You see you thought you were the tribal chief, no no no. THE ROCK is the high chief. You see Jimmy here, was working with me the whole damn time, and now, he, his brother Jey and Roman are gonna accompany me at ringside, while I lay the smacketh down on your candy ass! If you smell... what the BLOODLINE, is cookin'"

Umaga had no chance. He fought hard but Reigns and the Usos ran interference given the No Holds Barred stipulation and made it impossible for him to do anything. He took multiple direct hits from them on the outside including a spear from Reigns and eventually was victimized with a pair of Rock Bottoms as The Rock relieved him of the WWE Undisputed Championship. The Bloodline wasn't done there though as the Usos and Reigns grabbed Umaga and held his head on the steel steps. Rock then came over and smashed his boot directly into Umaga's head, leaving him completely incapacitated as the crowd sat in shock and horror. Who will stop The Bloodline?

Match #2: Xixak vs. Ken Shamrock | One on One | #1 Contender's Match :twostar:
Xixak had his debut match in the WWE and it was a difficult test as he would face off with Ken Shamrock, the "Most Dangerous Man in the World". Not only would this be his first match, but Vince McMahon had also given him a chance to become the #1 contender for the United States Championship if he were to win. He was getting his ass kicked early in the match and struggling to compete with Shamrock at all until he was able to take things outside of the ring. On the outside, Xixak turned it into a brawl as the referee's count continued to tick upwards. Shamrock tried to whip him back into the ring but Xixak countered it and sent him careening into the steel steps. When Shamrock got up, Xixak quickly delivered a devastating kick to the head with the referee's count already at 9. He slithered back into the ring and watched the referee count out Shamrock as he earned the #1 contender spot, however cheaply. Booker T, the US Champ, came out after the match looking unimpressed by Xixak's tactics to win the match. He entered the ring and stood face to face with him before holding the title in the air, accepting the challenge from the newcomer.

Main Event: Xixak vs. Booker T | One on One :threestar:
This match never even got started. Xixak was waiting for Booker T to come out and face him but Booker slid into the ring and pounced on him before the bell even rang. Booker was putting in a beating on Xixak and the Newcomer was having a lot of trouble getting his own share of offense in. The brawl continued and spilled outside the ring, where Booker continued to abuse Xixak until Xixak was able to whip him into the steel steps. When they moved back into the ring, Xixak finally was able to turn the tide until Booker hit him with a big Side Kick out of nowhere. Xixak was down and Booker started to set up for the Scissor Kick to put him away for good, but Xixak dodged it and then countered into an X-Factor, laying out the champ as the show came to an end.

Main Event: Xixak vs. Booker T | One on One :threehalfstar:
Booker T attacked Xixak from behind before the match sending him careening into the ringpost arm first. His arms were badly hurt for the rest of the match but he persevered through to continue to challenge. Eventually Xixak was able to take control of the match after hitting a Spear on Booker and following that up with a Curb Stomp. He could've won the non-title match between the two right then and there, but instead chose to take things to the outside. He cleared the announce table and lifted Booker onto it, but Booker countered and nearly hit the Book End, but Xixak reversed that. He then hit a Powerbomb on Booker sending him through the table before rolling him back into the ring to get the pinfall victory. But at what cost? Xixak's arm had been badly hurt and might cause him problems in the upcoming title match between the two.
