Goldberg vs Hogan is a great feud

Weird interference by Show in Cena vs Lashley match, wonder where that is going?

Yikes in the Edge/Lita vs Chyna/Batista match, couldn't see that one going any other way.

FLAMING TABLE!!!
:yep: Hogan and Goldberg is a WCW classic. Goldberg still hasn't lost a real match since debuting in WWE so we'll see if Hogan can change that.

Not sure what's going on with those 3 atm. Definitely think somebody is getting a US Title match out of this though.

Lita is screwed honestly lol, eventually Chyna is getting that match and winning that title.

Flaming table was crazy, I didn't even know you could do that in this game. Hardyz got wrecked.

kinda funny to see Hall and Nash doing that kind of stuff with the flaming table, more of a hardyz/dudleys/e&c/hollys thing

fun though!

September Week 3 | Dubuque, IA

Match #1: One on One Normal | Stephanie McMahon vs. Molly Holly
Stephanie McMahon faced off against Molly Holly in her first match on Smackdown! since declaring herself the Divas Champion. Stephanie was looking surprisingly good in the ring, holding her own against Molly Holly, and even managing to hit her with a pedigree. But when Molly Holly kicked out of her finisher, the Billionaire Princess threw a temper tantrum and slapped the referee for not counting quickly enough, earning herself a disqualification.
Winner: Molly Holly by disqualification.

Match #2: One on One Normal | Rey Mysterio (5) vs. Brock Lesnar (1) | King of the Ring Semi-Final
It looked like Brock was going to put the much smaller Mysterio away early, as he was throwing him around the ring like a child, inflicting serious damage with each move. But life was breathed into the Mexican superstar, when he caught Brock's leg on a stomp attempt and flipped him on his back to finally ground The Beast. Then Rey started to get some of his own offense in, hitting Brock with a reverse hurricanrana, sunset flip and a DDT to leave him dazed. But that didn't last long, after that flurry, Brock hoisted Rey into the air and hit him with the Suplex City series of german suplexes and then several heavy punches to the abdomen. Brock then looked to lift Rey above his shoulders for the F-5, but Mysterio countered and threw Brock into the ropes before hitting him with the 6-1-9. That only earned him a 2-count, but Rey quickly followed it up with a Frog Splash, but Brock still kicked out at two again. Rey started to pick up Brock to continue to try to do more damage, but out of nowhere Lesnar lifted him up and hit him with an F-5. It looked to be all over for Rey but he shocked everyone by kicking out just before the referee could count to three. A bewildered Lesnar picked up Mysterio again in a rage, looking for a second F-5, but Rey countered that into his second 6-1-9 of the contest, but once again Brock kicked out at two. Rey climbed to the top rope looking for a West Coast Pop, but Lesnar caught him out of the air and delivered another F-5, but somehow Mysterio again managed to kick out at the last second! Brock, realizing that he needed to do more to put Rey away, grabbed his arm and started wrenching it into a Kimura Lock. There was simply no way for Mysterio to get out of the hold, and after all the damaged he had sustained, he was forced to submit. Brock once again advanced to the King of the Ring finals.
Winner: Brock Lesnar by submission.

Match #3: Triple Threat | X-Pac vs. Shelton Benjamin vs. Big Boss Man
Randy Orton came out to the ring to reveal to Shelton Benjamin to reveal who his opponent would be to earn a #1 contender's spot for the intercontinental title. Well... opponentS, plural. Orton said he'd have to defeat not one but two superstars, X-Pac and Big Boss Man in a triple threat match to earn a shot at the belt. If one of the other two were to win, well they'd get that opportunity instead. Shelton didn't appear to be phased by the added challenge. He took on both guys willingly, letting them take turns feeling the brunt of his offense. When he landed a massive superkick on Big Boss Man, X-Pac tried to take him out of the picture to capitalize. He perched Benjamin on the top rope, looking for a superplex, but Benjamin shoved him off the top turnbuckle, and by the time X-Pac recovered off the ground, Benjamin was there to meet him with a jumping STO and cover for three before Big Boss Man could get back to his feet. Shelton celebrated the victory and pointed at Orton who was watching at ringside and could only look on in disgust at having to face Shelton once again for his belt at Backlash.
Winner: Shelton Benjamin by pinfall.

Main Event: One on One Normal | Randy Savage vs. Eddie Guerrero
Randy Savage just straight up out-wrestled Eddie Guerrero in this one. To the point where Guerrero at one point just straight up left the ring and started muttering to himself in frustration. When he came back in, Savage went right back to work and hit a diving double axe handle to level Latino Heat. Savage climbed atop the ropes, ready to deliver his patented elbow drop to end the match, but Guerrero rolled out of the way just in the nick of time to dodge the attack. He then finally started to build up some momentum, but that all came to a halt when Savage countered his attempt at the Three Amigos and slammed him to the mat. This time, Guerrero wouldn't be able to get out of the way and ate an elbow drop directly to the heart as Savage picked up the win. Almost immediately post-match, The Rock appeared on the stage, title in hand to "applaud" Savage's victory. Savage motioned to The Rock to come down to the ring, but seconds later he was getting mauled from behind by The Rock's Nation of Domination stablemates, Mark Henry and Papa Shango. The Rock, laughing, started to make his way down to the ring and told Shango and Henry to pick up Savage so he could punish him. The Rock slapped him in the face disrespectfully before delivering a thunderous Rock Bottom and standing above Savage's corpse as he and the Nation did their signature Fists in Air pose to close Smackdown!.
Winner: Randy Savage by pinfall.

Nice to see some more players in the women's division

The Lesnar/Mysterio match was legit! (you put pinfall) was rooting for Rey but I really knew Lesnar had it.

Big win for Benjamin, bet he takes the belt.

Hope Rock vs Savage goes for a while, great feud.

Yeah there are a few women who haven't been showcased much yet, Molly Holly being one of them so hopefully we see them get more involved.

Good catch on the pinfall, it was a submission win for Lesnar. Rey is ridiculous, was rooting for him too, he kicks out of everything, but the 6-1-9s he did were just like tickling Brock. Don't see how Brock doesn't win this tournament tbh. Angle might have a shot if he makes it through.

Yeah I think Shelton Benjamin is hungry to get his second title in WWE, and Orton's gonna have his hands full. Savage vs. The Rock looks great as well, but with Rock having the Nation behind him it's gonna be really tough for Savage to get the belt off him.

Show Opener Promo | Vince McMahon
RAW is WAR started with the general manager and CEO himself, Vince McMahon, coming out to the ring. He grabbed a microphone and addressed the WWE Universe, "RAW is WAR may not have a pay-per-view this weekend like Smackdown!'s Backlash. However, we're going to give you just as good of a show tonight. And how are we going to do that? Well every single singles title is going to be ON THE LINE, tonight. We've seen Big Show's antics with John Cena and Bobby Lashley the last few weeks. Well Show, now you get to defend your belt against BOTH of them in a triple threat match. Also, I think Chyna's shown more than enough over the last several weeks to prove she deserves a shot at Lita's belt, so those two will face off for the Women's Championship."

"Last but not least, since Goldberg became our inaugural champion, Hollywood Hulk Hogan has been gunning for that belt, including assaulting him last week in the locker room. Now a normal wrestling show would punish that kind of behaviour, but here on RAW is WAR, we CELEBERATE it. As a result, in tonight's main event, Hollywood Hulk Hogan will go one on one with Goldberg for the World Heavyweight Championship!"

The crowd roared with excitement at each announcement and Vince dropped the mic and swagger-walked his way backstage. Next, John Cena's music started playing, signifying the start of the first match of the night for the United States Championship.

Match #1: Triple Threat Normal | John Cena vs. Bobby Lashley vs. Big Show (c) | United States Championship
John Cena and Big Show had been working together in a weird way the past few weeks, and they continued that to start this matchup. They double-teamed Lashley and looked to take him out of the match early, but that didn't work. Lashley was eventually able to power through and knock down both of them, throw Cena out of the ring and start going to work on Big Show. Lashley showed surprising strength, able to lift the 500lb Big Show easily like very few other superstars have been able to do. After hitting Big Show with a massive stalling suplex, Lashley lined him up for and connected with the spear, but Cena came back in the ring before he could pin and threw Lashley out. Cena then went for the pin himself but the extra time allowed Big Show to recover and kick out at two. A shocked Cena was then face to face with a very angry Big Show who proceeded to beat the hell out of him, before delivering a chokeslam. This time Lashley would break up the pin, but not only did he do that, he hoisted Big Show in the air from the ground and delivered a massive Dominator and covered up Show for the three count.
Winner: Bobby Lashley by pinfall.

Match #2: One on One Normal | Chyna vs. Lita (c) | Women's Championship
This wasn't anything like the last title match. Chyna just refused to let Lita get any offense in. She took things to the outside immediately and started smacking Lita off the announce table, steel steps, ringposts and barricades, anything she could find to inflict maximum damage. When it reached a seven count she brought Lita back into the ring and Lita was able to slip away for a second and hit a DDT, but it only seemed to phase Chyna momentarily. She countered Lita's next move and then hit her with the Pedigree. Lita lay motionless and it would have been easy for Chyna to win at that point, but she stopped her own pin mid-count and picked Lita up for yet another Pedigree to hurt her even more. Then Chyna finally did pin Lita and there was no way for her to kick out as Chyna won and became the new Women's Champion. The belt seemingly wasn't enough for her though, as after receiving it, Chyna stomped out Lita, and when Lita finally did get to her feet, Chyna hit her square in the face with the belt leaving her bloodied and unconscious in the center of the ring.
Winner: Chyna by pinfall.

Main Event: One on One Normal | Hollywood Hulk Hogan w/ nWo vs. Goldberg (c) | World Heavyweight Championship
Goldberg came out strong, ready to defend his title against Hogan while also being wary of the Tag Team Champions Hall and Nash who were at ringside. He was controlling the matchup until things spilled to the outside. Hogan was then able to whip him into the steel steps and turn the match into more of a brawl, which favoured him. At least Hogan thought so, until Goldberg lifted him up, and was about to Jackhammer him through the announce tables. Before Goldberg could do that though, Scott Hall chop blocked him and then Hall picked up the pieces and powerbombed him. The referee immediately disqualified Hogan, meaning that Goldberg was the winner and would retain his title, but the nWo continued their assault on the champion. It appears there's a larger plan here for the nWo, because it's quite strange that Hogan would willingly throw away an opportunity to take the belt.
Winner: Goldberg by disqualification.
