Match #1: Mark Henry vs. JBL | One on One | #1 Contender's Match :fourstar:
Mark Henry faced off against JBL for the right to become the #1 contender for Rob Van Dam's Intercontinental Championship. Henry dominated JBL physically early on, hitting a Powerslam on the outside before going for a Bear Hug to try to squeeze the life out of his opponent. JBL was able to break free though and then started to gain some momentum. He showed incredible strength to hit Henry with a Powerbomb, and was going to follow it up with Clothesline from hell but Mark dodged it and then pulled him up and into a World's Strongest Slam to get the 1-2-3. After the match, Henry wasn't satisfied with just the win though and assaulted JBL, beating him up and whipping him into the steel steps to leave him in a serious pain.

Match #2: Rey Mysterio vs. Jeff Hardy vs. Hurricane | Triple Threat | Light Heavyweight Championship Tournament Semi-Final :fivestar:
Prior to the second of the match, Smackdown! GM Paul Heyman announced that a short tournament would take place to crown the first Light Heavyweight champion. Two triple threat matches would happen this week and next, functioning effectively as semi-finals with the winners of those two matches facing each other at the Royal Rumble for the vacant Light Heavyweight title. Jeff Hardy was the opportunist in this one, mainly allowing Mysterio and Hurricane to beat up on each other. When Hurricane took out Mysterio with a Superman Punch, before he could go for the pin, Hardy caught him with the Twist of Fate, allowing him to pin Hurricane instead and get a massive victory to move on to the final.

Main Event: Stone Cold vs. Brock Lesnar (c) | One on One | WWE Championship :fourhalfstar:
Stone Cold stated that he came to Smackdown! with the specific goal of winning the WWE Championship, and on his first night on the show he was given a chance to win the belt against Lesnar. Lesnar had no intentions of allowing that though as he attacked Austin from behind with the belt during his entrance. The two then got engaged in a brawl outside the ring, spending nearly 10 minutes wrestling out there before the bell even rang. When they eventually returned to the ring both men were spent but Austin actually seemed to have the upper hand. Brock tried and failed for the F-5, and then got rocked with a Stunner that likely would've won Austin the title if Brock didn't have the presence to roll out of the ring. Austin came out after Brock, but Lesnar hit him with a low blow causing an immediate DQ call from the ref. Austin writhed in pain on the ground and Brock went to get his title again. When Austin rose to his feet, Brock blasted him across the face with the belt, knocking him unconscious, before walking off to a chorus of boos from the crowd.

Main Event: Royal Rumble :fivestar:
Stone Cold entered #1 and the newly crowned Light Heavyweight champ, Jeff Hardy, entered 2nd. The rumble eventually came down to Syxx (#28) vs. Cena (#30) vs. Mark Henry (#10). Henry and Syxx worked together against Cena. Henry was eventually able to toss Cena out by World's Strongest Slamming him over the top rope. Syxx tried to take advantage and superkick Henry over but the big man hung on. The two brawled and the much stronger Henry gained the advantage, eventually hitting a World's Strongest Slam on Syxx and tossing him over to win the Royal Rumble and IC title in the same night. Will he go after Lesnar or Orton at Mania?

Match #1: Nikki Bella w/ Brie Bella vs. Jacqueline (c) | One on One | Women's Championship :threehalfstar:
Nikki Bella defeated Trish Stratus and Lita in a triple threat qualifying match to get a shot at Jacqueline's Women's Championship at Wrestlemania with the added stipulation that the loser of the match would quit WWE forever. Nikki got off to a dominant start and the younger woman seemed to be just too much for the champ from the onset. Jacqueline was able to get back into things but later Nikki hit a facebuster on the outside of the ring that allowed her to regain control. Jacqueline kicked out when Nikki tossed her back into the ring, however. Jacqueline later tried to hit Nikki with a running clothesline but Brie Bella grabbed her hair out of the referee's view. This distraction caused Jacqueline to turn her back allowing Nikki to go for the Rack Attack but Jacqueline countered it into a Float Over DDT to incapacitate Bella and retain the Women's Championship.

Match #2: Umaga (c) vs. Kane | Hell in a Cell | United States Championship :threestar:
Kane was supposed to have an advantage here with the Hell in a Cell stipulation, but it didn't seem to phase the champion at all. Umaga made short work of Kane, hitting him with a chokeslam early on, a devastating Samoan Drop and then finally the Samoan Spike to incapacitate him and retain the title. In a battle of two monsters it was only the champion Umaga who looked like one in the end.

Match #3: Booker T vs. Edge vs. Kurt Angle vs. Rob Van Dam vs. Shinsuke Nakamura vs. AJ Styles | Battle Royal | WWE Intercontinental Championship :fourhalfstar:
Mark Henry was forced to vacate the Intercontinental Championship to be allowed to compete in a special main event against Brock Lesnar and Randy Orton for both of their titles. This match went for a long time with superstars showcasing their wrestling skills and not really going for eliminations. AJ Styles was the eventually first to be eliminated after Edge chucked him over the top rope. Booker T was the next to go when he was kicked in the head by Nakamura while hanging on the apron. Nakamura got the next elimination as well after brawling with Kurt Angle, hitting him with an Exploder suplex to send him tumbling over the top rope. His run was short-lived though after the Ultimate Opportunist, Edge, speared him and then chucked him over. RVD and Edge then got into a brawl as the last two men with RVD outwitting Edge and using a Scissor Monkey Flip to send him over the ropes and win the battle royal and become the new Intercontinental Champion.

Main Event: Mark Henry vs. Randy Orton (c) vs. Brock Lesnar (c) | Triple Threat | Undisputed Championship :fourstar:
The former Intercontinental Champion, Mark Henry, the Heavyweight Champion, Randy Orton and the WWE Champion, Brock Lesnar faced off in a matchup where the if Brock or Orton won they would retain their respective titles, but if Mark Henry won he would win BOTH belts and become the Undisputed WWE World Heavyweight Champion. In order to earn that right, Henry had to relinquish his IC title, which was won by RVD earlier in the night. Mark Henry was an absolute force and simply too physically dominant for even Lesnar to handle. He was bludgeoning Lesnar and Orton so the two main title champions started to work together to take him out of the equation. After throwing him over the top rope, Lesnar and Orton brawled with each other which ended up in Lesnar tossing Orton out. Mark Henry made his way back into the ring and went one on one with Lesnar for a long time. Lesnar somehow picked up the 400lb behemoth for an F-5. He was about to go for the cover but Orton slithered back into the ring and hit Lesnar with an RKO. He then went to the corner, lining up Henry. Orton ran at Henry full speed and delivered a Punt Kick that may have ended his career and definitely put his lights out before going for the pin and securing it to retain his World Heavyweight Championship.
